It's a double-neck with a six-string guitar and an eight-string mandolin neck. Here the kit is test assembled, ready to be taken back apart and finished. I'm thinking...maybe seafoam green? What do you think?

Cool!
I don't really know a lot about guitars, but I am curious if it is harder to play than the normal guitars.

Yes, and it's heavier. This is a country-style guitar, since the Telecaster (the guitar that this one is shaped like) is pretty heavily used in country music, and the mandolin is pretty much a country instrument.

Here's Stevie Ray Vaughan and his brother Jimmy playing a double neck together.

And Steve Vie playing a triple neck:

Cool! My BIL, a professional musician in Austin, would go nuts!
IMHO, sea foam green would be beautiful, but a clear coat would rock. I love natural wood.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for natural/stained wood, myself. Won't work on this one; it already has a sealer on it.

That is really awesome! Too bad a clearcoat won't work. Seafoam would be good, or a nice metallic blue

I vote for a metallic blue.

(I have a personal aversion to seafoam green.)
