My sister will be getting a kitten to replace Ty.
He is 5 weeks old now.
My sister came up with Luxor and I told her she can use the name I was going to use for sphynx.
I will find another name for a sphynx.
I hope to find a sphynx soon.
The name I was going to use was Ramses or King Ramses.
We also came up with Ramses the Great.
We are open to other suggestions also.

What color Bengal? (correct spelling btw Jacky....Nial will shoot you on the mis-spelling ).

Given the choices now I'd go with Ramses the Great

That is why I have the touch pad disabled and use a wireless mouse. I have had this laptop for a week now and hated the touch pad.

That being said, I would need to see a pic of the kitten or at least know the coloring. That way I can better tell what name.

I know how to spell Bengal.
That is what happens when a sphyxn kitten puts her paws on the keys.
As you can see it is spelled right on the poll part.
Nial sent my sister pictures so one of them can post them.
The kitten is brown and is very cute.

I have a Egyptian Theme I can let my sister use for some of the shows.
To bad I dropped the water globe at the cfa show last week.
The glass shattered all over.
Ramses was one of the names I had thought of even before I had cleo.

I will tell you my kittens names at the moment (just their pet names, not their show names...)

Fluffy's: Pansy Wong (my Nana named her after a NZ politican - she's the pretty little Persian girl)

Flutterby's: Stilton, Brie, Camembert, Roquefort & Gorgonzola

Tales: Stripes, Badger, Angelina (RIP), Peek & "No Name" - I told him I'd name him No Name because he is SOOOOOOO naughty. He really is Peek A Blue though - can you guess what colour he is

I get some of my ideas from show catalogs where it lists the cat's name and parent's names - I pick out part (or an idea) from one name and add to it.

I've also used (since I have chocolate Oci's) a website of chocolate/lilac names to use for cats - and worked ideas from that. For me its easier to at least have a color to work with. I know the next Oci will be chocolate-silver cause that's what I want - so we can work with names to go with that.

When I was breeding my Cornies - I made a compute list of names and colors and even broke some down to male or female names for the colors. This way when kittens were born, I would use my list to name them - most times the new owner liked what I picked and kept the name.

I will try to get pics up later. He is a beautiful brown spotted tabby with rosettes. His parents named are Apollo JJ and Cairo. That's why I went the Egyptian way.

Just a minor name correction Frances. The sire is Apollo II, like roman numeral 2. The font on the website made it look like JJ.

Let's see those pics!

Well if my sister uses the Ramses name you jsut gave me a idea for a name for a sphynx.
I like King Tut.
A show name must be 35 letter or less including the cattery name.
