Inkykitty, haven't heard from you in a few days, how is your cat and the pregnancy going?
Keep us posted and don't be afraid to ask questions regarding kitten care. There are very usueful links at the top of the pregnancy and kitten care board, I suggest you read them if you are not familiar with this already.
I wish you all the best.

Hey guys

Sora is doing *very* well! Getting big and round, but having problems washing her behind so I've been cleaning her everyday, since she's so small and those kittens look so big! Kittens are wriggling around inside her like little nutters and she's still eating loads. She's got her birthing box in my room, which is nice and quiet as well as dark and warm.

She should be due within the next week or so, so I'm off to go and get some feeding tubes/syringes, a bulb syringe and some KMR.
Got dental floss already incase she doesn't want to cut any cords or has problems and I've red up on how to birth/rear the kittens should any problems occur with a vets phone number to hand

I was just thinking about your little kitty a day or two ago, wondering how things are going. Glad to hear it's OK so far.

I hope everything keeps going well.
You seem well prepared. You will see though that there is a huge difference between theory and practice (I've been there myself). Do not hesitate to call a vet as soon as you think something is wrong!
Keep up the good work and don't forget to keep us posted! I was getting a bit worried about you and your kitty!

Good luck to Sora.

Have you had the male done by now?

He can get her pregnant again pretty quickly after she gives birth.

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully he's been neutered since all this started!

How can they make that assessment without examining her? I would take her someplace with a GOOD cat vet and let him/her look over your baby. You may have to make a decision about the life of mama vs. the lives of the babies. Horrible. I know.

If you don't abort and she goes into labor... oh man... I would be rushing her to the vet to deliver... b/c you could lose them all w/o emergency intervention.
