In the snow!!!!
Hey y'all, we are getting some serious wet, heavy snow here. I was shoveling snow from the back door to the garbage can and a found a cat!

Ok, so I am not particularly good at sculpture, but it looks kind of like a cat - right?

It started out as a sphinx and ended up looking like a cross between Darcy and a Sphinx that is just a little out of perspective. I really am not good a sculpture, but the inspiration just kind of hit me

I think it's a fine sculpture of a cat, and with all of the new snow, you can make yourself a colony!

That was great.
As for North Carolina, we are getting more rain. My husband won't even pull his boat out of the barn to go fishing because our yard is sunk.

We currently have about three feet on the ground and its still coming down. I've decided not to streas - we have food, water and litter for the cats. (some food and water for us, too
)

I may make a snow angel later but nothing like your kitty! Amazing and very creative!

I just saw on the news - we have 12.5 inches and it is blowing and drifting so we have some much deeper areas

It looks fine. After all, your artistic medium is metal

At least you don't have to worry about feeding or neutering this cat.

Ok, with all that snow, you are going to have to increase the scale of your sculpting, maybe something about six feet long, maybe four feet high...heheh

First thing I thought was the Sphynx! It looks great.
How long does it take you to get anything done when you have to stop and create things all the time?

LOL, it takes forever sometimes because I just have to keep my hands busy making stuff. The cat took an hour that I should have been using for other things
