It wasn't at all bad until I got home and realized my little kitty Bailey wasn't inside. I searched everywhere in the house twice and decided there was no way she was in the house. I confirmed it when I saw little kitty paw prints in the snow outside the door.

I went outside without a flashlight, shook her treat can and called for her and she immediately started crying from under the deck. At this point I was super scared because it sounded like she was hurt and I sprinted inside and grabbed a flashlight and went under the deck.

Luckily she wasn't hurt, just cold and scared. This was her first time being outside and hopefully her last as I don't want her to be outside.

I also made my parents cranky as after I heard her crying and thought she was hurt I started spouting obscenities and how this is the problem when my brother has so many friends coming and going. I don't handle thinking my kitten is hurt very well

So just telling the story hoping to calm down a little bit, I get so stressed when stuff like this happens

Awww hun, I'm just SO glad she is ok and that you found her quickly. Poor little doll was probably terrified...

In the snow!!!!
It is good that she was still nearby and you were able to find her and hopefully get her back inside. Just give her lots of treats and loves and it will all be fine

I'm glad she was okay. I would probably loose my cool too...

Be safe.

OMG! Thank god she was as desperate for you to find her as you were, and she was safe! I definitely hear your frustration with others going in and out of the home and not caring about the kitties safety. Your kitty was crying for you as you were looking for her! She was probably so panicked and freaked out that hopefully she won't try running out again! Although it's probably best if you secure her when your not home.......
