Do you have ceiling fans in your homes?

Here in Florida almost everyone home has ceiling fans in just about every room. In our house the bathrooms are the only rooms with no ceiling fans. That includes my kitchen and laundry room which both have ceiling fans.

No ceiling fans here. My apartment has low ceilings, maybe 7', so even a flush mount fan would hang too low. In the Summer, I use a couple of the big oscillating fans.

Since I'm only 5'2" and I can reach the ceiling quite easily without stretching, I'd say that my ceilings are too low

Yes, one in each room (but not the bathroom). They seem to provide amusement for Ari.

We have one in our bedroom. If need arises we have three portable fans.

We have a fan in our dining room. And one that needs to be installed in our bedroom. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

We have one in the dining room. It makes a difference, especially with kitchen smells.

No but I have the connection in my living room to attach one there. Some ceiling fans are so pretty but I just never liked the feeling of a fan blowing on me, I'm an a/c kinda gal :-))

^Most ceiling fans reverse, too.

We have four of them. During the spring and fall before the weather switches to whatever extreme it will switch to, we use them and open the windows. Saves money, airs the house out.

We have two. One in our living room, and one in our bedroom.

The one in the bedroom is even remote-controlled. RAWR!

No, we had one in our last house and I want one in the kitchen, lounge and bedroom as our house is warm anyway and in summer it's unbearable. They are very expensive though. x

No need, really. This is temperate rainforest, and we don't get extreme heat. At the hottest of the summer, opening up doors and windows and placing a variety of fans in strategic places does the job quite satisfactorily -- and even that's for a relatively short time.

We have 5 ceiling fans. One in each bedroom (3), one in the lounge and one in the dining room.
