Sunday Attitude was on the couch and she went to jump down and I noticed brown on her rear end on her white fur. I ask Paul if her rear was dirty and sure enough it was. She had had diarrhea which got on her long fur. It got on the couch from her fur. So I take her into the bathroom and try to clean her with a baby wipe and then a washcloth but she wasn't having any part of it. So I decided I was just going to have to give her a full bath.

I grabbed the puppy shampoo since she didn't need the Furminator shampoo that I usually use on her and Nuts.

I run the bath and she flies behind the toilet to hide. I go to grab her and she hisses at me. I grab her anyways and put her in the tub and she is just having a fit and hissing up a storm, she was MAD. She wasn't trying to scratch or bite she was just having a cow hissing.

I didn't get her fur as well as I wanted to since the puppy shampoo isn't any good. Her fur was a little yellowed and it got her somewhat white but not as white as the Furminator or even another shampoo I use. The puppy shampoo worked fine when she was outside the only time I used it was when she was in a large kennel due to a corneal ulcer. The cage was outside since that was where she was living at the time. Well she started smelling like a litter box so it was fine I just needed to get the smell out.

Looks like I'll be talking to the vet about something to calm her for baths. I don't care if it's a script or not, I just need something since baths upset her so bad. Nuts isn't too thrilled about them either but I'll have to see how he reacts to his next one. I wasn't planning on giving her a bath until her hair had fully grown back from her spay. She has plenty of hair back but it wasn't anywhere near full length. It's still really short.

Of course Nuts had to start biting her while she was still drying it off. I got so sick of it Nuts got tossed in the bathroom to separate them. Attitude was getting mad and I really didn't need a fight or Attitude crying from Nuts hurting her. He wasn't responding to me telling him no and giving him a spanking(a single light tap on his rear.) Those usually work. He was unusually persistent at it. He chilled after some time in the bathroom.

Well, that is how she got her name Attitude, she has plenty of it and decided to show it.

Living up to her name, too funny. Luckily I VERY rarely have to bathe my cats. The last time I bathed Elliott, he gave me quite the scar... His claw was literally hooked in my arm.
