My friend wants a Wilford Brimley cat so bad, but we aren't sure what breed it is.... Anybody know?

Yes a Persian. Please make sure your friend looks into the breed and chooses a good breeder, and is willing to undertake the grooming of a long haired cat.

How to find a good breeder, and avoid the very bad ones, and read some about persians too, you can look at the threads World of Purebreds and Persians...

Be careful with breeders and do lots of research.
