litter box question

I want to switch my cat from a regular box to a booda dome. Any recommendations for the transition ? I wanted to try avoid any possible accidents. The covered box would help alot with him scattering litter all over the floor.

Keep the old one down and add the new one in whatever location you plan to keep it. Eventually you may be able either remove or replace the old one if you know for certain that the booda dome has been accepted - but do know that a lot of cats do better with more than one litter box (if there's one cat. 2-4 boxes for 2 cats and so on).
