I bought a new car yesterday!!

I stopped to look at the Kia Sorrento yesterday because I saw an ad on TV and thought that the new model looked pretty good. Keep in mind, I have driven small cars for the last 5 or 6 years. I test drove the Sorrento and loved it! I ended up getting a 2011 sand beige Sorrento. I LOVE the color! It was expensive but I am so happy I own (well, I will when I pay it off lol) a car! My last car was a lease and I am actually very glad that it was because it was horrible. I had that car in the shop more often than I drove it! This Sorrento is just so big compared to what I am used to, but it gets the same (or better) gas mileage than the Impreza! It also costs me about $200/6 months less on insurance! How crazy is that?! It handles better than the Impreza too. Strange, since I figured a car would handle better than a crossover...

Oh and I had no intention of buying a car yesterday since my car doesn't go off lease until the beginning of October but they bought out my lease....

Congrats! You will love your kia! The Beau has a 99 that the odometer reads 220,000 but he swapped the engine around 200,000. He has had no problems out of it minus the usual maintenance stuff.
My dad had a sorrento and his wife was in a head on collision and she got out with only a few bumps and stitches nothing major but it killed the other driver. The firefighters and EMS told her the Kia was the only reason she survived it.

Those are really nice! I Miss having a SUV. Never had one till we tried the Ford Escape Hybrid.. Which I LOVED and still miss! But with a 750 mo car payment.. we couldn't do it.. so traded it..and got a car.. I Miss having a SUV. U wont ever wanna go back!
