1. Have you ever to sleeped on satin sheets? Yes, but I don't like them.
2. Can you whistle?.. I just learned last year! I was teasing Daisy by singing this song she hates, and then I started whistling just like that. I'm not good at it, but I am so proud of myself.

4. Would you be a Pirate? (Disguise for Halloween…..arrrrrrrrrrgh!)…Aye, aye! I would love to be a pirate! I think it would be an interesting occupation in general.
5. What songs do you sing in the shower?...today it was "I Hope You Dance", by (I think) Martina McBride. I don't really care much for country music but I like that song. I also do a lot of 70s disco lately.

10. Last thing that made you laugh?....Today, Daisy was on the cat tree in the place where Marshmallow usually sleeps. He was looking out the front window for a long time (we're having weather again), but then he decided to go back to his spot on the cat tree. I was wondering what he planned to do about the seating situation. Well, he jumped up on the cat tree, bit Daisy lightly on the back, and then started slapping at her. She jumped down and her hair was sticking straight up on her back in all different directions. It was so funny. I laughed and laughed. (I sound really mean, but she is twice as big as Marshmallow and more than able to defend herself. She wasn't hurt and please believe me, if she would have gotten mad, Marshmallow would have been one sorry little kitty.)

1.- Wich one is the most crazy thing that have you ever do it???? ( I mean for example, Jump in parachute, Take a Snake live, Jump in Bungee etc) I've handled live snakes, but probably the craziest was parasailing. I would do it again, but it was kinda scary.

4.- If you have the money power to move to some part of the world ( of course with your kittys) wich place would be and why..... That's a tough question, Rigel! I love the snow so much, but also love the beach. Can't I live in Maine during winter and Hawaii in the summer?

Of all the kitties in your life...

5. Have you ever thought about adding a particular type of cat, whether actually purebred or not, to your crew? What breed or what specific characteristics would you be looking for? Why?

So....let's pick up the kitty theme...

Of all the kitties in your life...

1. Who is/was your heart kitty? There have been so many. My childhood cats, Smoke a polydactyl DSH, Fluffy a beautiful purebred white Persian (a gift from my aunt who was a breeder). Then all the beloved cats that have crossed the bridge since I've been married...Garfield, Redman, Paws, Fuzzy, plus my parents cats Frosty and Ming. The ones I had as a child I lost too soon; the ones DH and I had lived full lives to old age, with Fuzzy the youngest to cross at approximately nine years old. Forgot to mention Speck, who is alive and well and a man after my own heart.

2. Who is/was the silliest? the mushiest? the grumpiest? Daisy is silliest and the grumpiest. She is really something. Marshmallow is the mushiest, he is so sweet. He doesn't really seek attention, but he loves to be petted. He doesn't scratch or bite unless he is in a very playful mood, and even then you can tell he doesn't mean to hurt.

3. Who is/was the most challenging? in what way? Daisy is the most challenging. She is into everything. She tears up things. She was a semi-feral stray before we adopted her, had to hunt her own food, etc. I also think she had been abused because she was afraid of men when she first came to live with us. (Now she is in love with DH.) She bites and scratches. She attacks me sometimes at night when I'm getting into bed. It's scary knowing something is hiding in wait, maybe under the bed, about to jump up and bite your bare leg. (My mom suggested I start looking under the bed to see if Daisy's there. "No," I said. "Then she'll bite my face!")

4. Any purebreds? what breed? No purebreds at this time. All strays or animal shelter adoptions.

5. Have you ever thought about adding a particular type of cat, whether actually purebred or not, to your crew? What breed or what specific characteristics would you be looking for? Why? DH and I looked at Bengals before we got the last three of our current crew. I would still consider a Bengal, if I found the right breeder. I think they are beautiful - I like spots. I also like Savannahs, but it would be very hard to get DH on board for something that big. But I fall in love with cats very easily, and want almost every one of them I see. I can find something I love about most any cat. I adore Daisy and she's a whole different ballgame. So it's just as likely if DH could be convinced to add another that it would be a regular cat in need of a home.

They like Fancy Feast wet, so that's what we give them. DH also buys some kind of dry food for them at the vet's office.

Yes, but only a no-kill shelter.

What do you do for R&R...

-- At home... I read a lot. I also write, but lately it seems more like a chore than R&R. I guess when you try to get serious about something like that, it takes the fun out of it. I spend a lot of time outdoors. If it snows, I get out and play in it. I like to sit out and watch the night sky. Some summers, I get myself a kiddie pool stay in it for hours at a time.

-- Outside the home...I like to go to restaurants or go shopping. I like to fish, but don't often get the opportunity.

Which of these activities/endeavours is the most fun? Which is the most refreshing? Which feeds your soul? The pool is the most fun and refreshing. Someday, I'll have a real pool. Sitting out at night would be the activity that comes closest to feeding my soul. It's peaceful and you'd be surprised what you see.
