last night i went to bed with a stomache ache. I woke up with it and ended up in the er with my stepmom and MIL. It feels good to be loved.

They gave me pills that stop cramps and that stop nausia. I am in so much pain. The only time I feel okay is sleep. every blanket that touches my tummy hurts. every time I mose my stomache feels like it is digesting broken bits of glass and razorblades.

I've drank very little today, each time anything gets in my tummy it's excruciating. Laying on my side, without moving, I feel okay

the er doctor wants me to see an internal medicine doctor to find out what is wrong with me. I thought it would go away by tonight. I am weak. Having trouble getting upstairs no where to lay down upstairs.

my DH dropped a long lan cord down a tiny hole in our stairs so I can have net down here. He's being so wonderful. This pain makes me cry, then he lays iwht me and rubs my back.

I don't feel like I want to live atm. I'm in so much pain. I know these are all part of a group of symptoms, and my sympoms aren't competely being treated, just lessened.

I've felt nausiated and like i needed a bm all day and nothing is happening, it's got me stressed out, and I am sure that isn't helping me any right now. And... shadey keeps drinking my glass of water, so I got a bottle, she can't get in there.

I had surgeries starteing at 2 months ld, and got my colostomy reversed with i was a year and a half old. I've got IBS and GERD. They thought i had hershbrungs disease and in the end it was an immature colon. So I've had digestie issues my whole life. and that is why i can't have kids, to many adheisians messed up mu insides.

I am going to the doctor tomorrow.

thanks for listening.

be safe

Did they give you narcotic painkillers in the ER? If so, that's only going to add to possible constipation (get enough of them in me and even I'll get it
).

I hope that's all today was and that regulates itself soon enough.

I've had bouts of bad GI pain for close to 10 years now - never went to the ER for them as I didn't even realize people did that till recently...
Mine get better by completely avoiding food and only drinking water.. and waiting them out which can take 10 hours to days.

I hope the doctor can figure out what's going on. Did they at least check your liver and pancreas function in the ER? If not, ask about it tomorrow.

they just ran blood tests for infections.

They put me on something that will relax my cramps but it also causes constipation. the other pills for nausia cause constipation. I don't want to take them but the cramps were too horrible.

Ugh...

My back hurts too with the cramps. i will check on it all tomorrow if i am still like this.

Thank you

be safe

Hun, do you still have your gall bladder? I would have them do an ultrasound for gall stones because what you described sounds a LOT like the pain I went through before I had my gall bladder out. I hope that they get to the bottom of it soon and that you start feeling much better.

Did they send you for any Ultrasound scans or anything like that during your stay in ER?

Hopefully they will solve your tummy problems soon, and sending lots of healing vibes your way!

That is exactly what I was thinking. When I had my gallbladder attacks, all I could do was lay there and cry. It hurt to even move. I still remember the pain and it has been 6 years ago. Have an ultrasound done. Hang in there!

Have you had a CT Scan done? If not, I think it would be a good idea to suggest to the docs to give you one.. What you're going thru sounds a lot like the pain I went thru when I had appendicitis, or how my SIL felt when she needed to have her galbladder removed..

When I had appendicitis, I had horrible stomach pains all of a sudden, on a Friday night. I was sleeping over my best friend's house, who also lived next door to me. It was soo bad, it hurt just to sit up. When my friends mom told my stepmom, she suggested I take a hot bath, if I didn't feel better, she'd take me to the ER. The bath made me feel better, but once I was out of the water the pain started again. The ER said I was consitpated and sent me home with Milk of Magnesia, saying if I didn't feel better by Monday, to go to my family doctor. I spend the whole weekend in so much pain, throwing up, and not being able to move or lay on one side because it would make me vomit. Monday came, I went to my family doctor, and he sent me straight back to the ER, my stomach was soo bloated he couldn't believe the ER had sent me home. At the ER they gave me a CT Scan, and found I had to have an emergency appendectomy, my appendix had burst.

If I were you, I'd have them look into that. It seems like it could be a possibility, unless you've already had your appendix removed.

Gallbladder can do that, but it's not the only thing that can. I have intense lower left sided pain and NO gallbladder. Doc checked out all ducts and didn't find anything wrong with them during surgery.

My worry is that the adhesions could be affecting other organs or ducts since they seriously messed other things up already.

Another odd possibility... You said you can't have children, did they do a hysterectomy on you or were you told this because of damage to your uterus? I'm wondering if an ectopic pregnancy would be impossible for you or not.

I hope you got some answers today. I'd honestly put that sort of pain above any migraine I've ever had.

I ended up back at the ER at 6am this morning. After Xrays they found that my small intestine is dialated, and where my intestine goes into my colon looks like it may be compressed. I have passed nothing in over 36 hours. Ihaven't eaten in a bout the same ammount of time. I vomited twice today, first time was a lot of bile, second time was only a little. Felt better both times, and went to sleep buy woke up in pain again.

They checked the gall blatter (SP?) and my appendix, didn't look like either was the cause. I may have a bleeding ulcer as well as the possible blockage.

They are keeping me in the hospital until something passes, if not, I may be looking at surgery. I miss my Shade. I feel much better on pain killers.

Today they gave me a medicine for nausea that also helps with the bowels and should get them moving again.

Yeah... about the meds that cause constipation... it seemed kind of funny to me, but I am feeling better (as long as the pain medication doesnt stop working).

I am so thankful for all my family. I heard from a former stepfather of mine that I haven't seen since I was 10. He called me to wish me well. My biological father called me and wished me well. My dad (who riased me) gave me pretty flowers last night, both my step mom and my MIL and FIL were here today to see me, and my hubby brought me my laptop!! I have a great family. I am blessed.

I'm also blessed to have all of you out there
I appologize for not hitting all the threads and wishing everyone well, the last couple days have been so painful that I haven't thought about much, or even was thinking straight for that matter.
I appreciate you all. Thank you.

Be safe.

How awful for you. Nice of your husband to think of bringing the computer in.
Thinking of you and wishing you well, soon. I know you must miss Shade, but know she is well taken care of.

Thank you.

Oh Yeah... I didn't have a hysterectomy because my utuerus(Morphine makes spelling hard for me I appologize) was fine and in good shape. They gave me a pg test yesterday and it was negative. That thought about a tubal pregnancy went through my mind as well.

May I be bold enough to request vibes for my husband, my dad, and my shadey. they are all taking my illness pretty hard. My dad ... the last time a female was in the hospital he loved (my mom) she passed away, and he made the comment that I better not die on him. Not my plan and i don't think it is that serious.

my hubby has been crying with me while i am in major pain thrashing around and crying, and shadey... she's freaking out. Dh is either working or up here with me, and she is having a hard time. I worry for them more then me.

Thank you all for the wonderful moral support and questions. im not thinking completely straight atm.

be safe.

This may be TMI... I finally had some movement, just gas, but it's wonderful. I've never been so happy and not embarrassed to pass gas infront of people before.

My tummy is no longer distended and hard. My bowels are making noise and moving around, even if everything solid is staying inside still. The pain is tollerable now. I'm off painkillers and morphine.

I may have to see a rectal surgeon and have surgery, possibly on my abdomin as well to clear scar tissue out. That would make maybe 10 surgeries, 8 as a baby last one at 2. My only surgery as an adult was at 21. I had a colostomy from about 2 months old until a year and a half.

I was blessed because my colostomy was reversed, so I have had a mostly normal life. I am thankful for that.

Thank you all for your well wishes, they helped me stay positive and keep my silver lining in sight.

be safe.
