I need everyones help. My "queen" Aurora is sick. Whatever it is, just hit her all of a sudden. Of course, it is Saturday and I am at work. My regular vet will be closed by the time I get home. I hope I don't have to go to the emergency, but that is where I will take her if things are worse. 3 of my bobcats had been sick at the end of December and the beginning of January, the last one being Natasha, but I don't think this is related. The bobcats had diarrhea for 2-3 days, that cleared up on it's own, except for Natasha who had to go to the vet, because she started passing blood. 2 different antibiotics cleared this up and she is fine now. (vet had no idea what caused this either). But Aurora doesn't appear to have had diarrhea, she didn't want to eat and will not drink. She didn't want to get off the bed this morning either. Ughh, this day at work seems to be dragging, because I want to get home and see how she is doing.

I think it must be that time of year for the kitties to get sick for no reason. One of the clinic cats was sick, Garfield was sick, and one of the people I work with had a sick cat, just out of the blue and just for a few days. The things they put us through

for Aurora. I hope she gets better soon, I think I age a year every time one of mine gets some unidentifiable bug for a few days.

Hm, bloody diarrhea in more than one cat that came on suddenly. Possibly bacterial?
I know (unfortunately) that bad bacterial overgrowth does do that in people.

I hope Aurora's gets better. It's always worrisome when they don't want to eat.
