Carolinalima will be glad to hear that Jordan got adopted this week.

Every kitty that gets adopted, especially an adult kitty, is wonderful news The lady carrying Jordan doesn't look very comfy though

Ah, that is Carolinalima herself! She visited our shelter and met some of our great kitties.

I was comfortable, but he wanted to go to the floor soooo bad! Poor thing.... too long in confined spaces! I was trying to convince him to stay just a little longer for a picture . He is a BEAUTY

Now if that little pill Flambe could just catch someone's eye!

Proof that a beautiful cat can make even the ugliest guy look better...

Carolinalima, I completely understand how futile it is to try hanging onto a cat who's determined to get all four feet back on the ground He's a beautiful cat, I'm so glad he got adopted.

As for Flambe, he's just soo cute, I can't see why no one wants him

Aw, man, if I could, I would jump onto the earliest plane to where that creamy kitty is at and take little Flambe right out of your hands!

Jordan, tho, has such a spectacular color! Like blue-ish and sort of red-ish at the same time! What a lovely kitty! I hope he'll be happy and his new family will take good care of him and love him.

Woot woot! Yay for Jordan finding his forever home. Next up, Flambe!

Yay! Tiny's identical twin got adopted. BTW mrblanche, you look like an academic in the photo with the glasses on. I think you've mentioned that you taught school before, so maybe that's appropriate.

Yep. They're hard to get a good picture of, but they're a really pretty blue.

In that case, except for the long hair, your Thufir is a twin to Flambe. He is actually a flame point, I believe. Notice how the yellow is only on his ears, nose, tail, and paws?

They're pretty similar. I noticed that the first time you posted pictures of Flambe. Thufir's color is a bit more dilute though. Other than the spot there above his nose, you can't see a tabby pattern at all.

The bad news is that Flambe gave some of the shelter workers some trouble over the weekend, so they asked me to bring him home again for a couple of weeks. He has always been kind of aggressive toward large cats, but apparently he scratched one of the ladies who had him out to show him off.

If I hadn't had my name on his card, he would have been put to sleep this morning. There just isn't room at the shelter for an unpleasant cat.

Now, I don't think he's unpleasant. But he is certainly rambunctious, and right now he's growling every time he comes across one of the bigger cats in the house. I hope he settles down with a little rest from the shelter.

And he still trills to himself whenever he's walking (or, more likely, running) around the house.

That little kitty? Wow, I had no idea... Maybe he is scared? Defensive? Poor baby, thank goodness he has you!

What Flambe needs is someone who is lonely and has no other cats, or another kitten. He got along famously with Emily.

And he's lots of company. He wants to be where you are, but he wants to be able to run the whole length of the house a few times every few minutes. He wants to know what you're doing, and he loves attention (but not necessarily being picked up and held for very long).

And he does introduce sound into the house. He trills to himself wherever he goes.
