I haven't posted too often in the past few weeks, so I thought it was time for an update! Here's a brief update of life lately (lots of craziness!!):

All of the furbabies are doing wonderful! I also have quite a few new aquatic additions (tons and tons of pictures of my aquariums on facebook)! I have officially hooked Jack into aquariums as well
He now has 3 tanks

As far as my family goes, my Nannie (grandmother on my mom's side) has been in the hospital in critical care for a few weeks now. She is very ill and needs some major prayers.
She never really recovered from her hospital stay a few months back, and is now very ill. The doctors have informed my family to prepare for the worst. Nannie has a DNR and does not want any life saving measure to be taken (blood transfusions, dialysis, etc), so they are just trying to keep her comfortable. Her doctors and nurses are wonderful and have been doing a great job keeping her comfortable and taking good care of her. My family and I are all very close to her, so it's just tough watching such an amazing lady go through soo much right now. The sad part is that I can not go visit her as she has a virus and is extremly contagious.I feel aweful that I haven't been able to visit her.(My cardiologist advised me not to as the virus she has could do some serious damage to my heart if I'm exposed... and I'm still having some pretty major issues with my heart at the moment.) My mom, aunt, and oldest sister have been visiting her at the hospital when they're allowed though, and have been wearing the gowns, gloves, and masks. ) I've gone to the hospital a few times just to keep them company and send notes/pictures in for them to give to my Nannie.) Please keep her in your prayers if you guys could spare a few. She is an amazing woman and is very close to my heart
For my own selfish reasons, I would love to have her here forever with us, but I also know that she is suffering as well. I'm just praying that whatever God's will is, that Nannie will be in peace. Hopefully she will make it, but if not, I know she has some wonderful people waiting to see her on the other side

Now for a bit of good news: I'm currently finishing up my last session at school this comming week and next before I start clinicals! I had my orientation to my clinicals yesterday and was out of schoool for a snow day today (which I'm using to study!)! If all goes well and I pass my comprehensive oral board and written final next week, then I will get to move on to the next phase of study and into the hospital
Please send tons of prayers and vibes that I do well with my finals...I am SOOOOO nervous (despite a lot of studying)!!! Another bit of good news is that I'm about 99% sure I'm getting the hospital and the shift that I want for my first clinical rotation if all goes well with my finals! I talked to my clinical director yesterday about it, so that's a bit of wonderful news for the week!

Jack and I will also be celebrating 9 wonderful months on the 18th of Feb!!
He is an amazing boyfriend and treats me soo well!
His family is also wonderful!! I feel soo blessed to have them all in my life!
(He's also planning to renew my TCS PL subscription sometime soon when we get a chance, so that will be great! That was part of my Christmas present from him lol, so I'm looking foward to that! In the mean time, I'll try to be better about posting here!

Thankyou for the prayers. She definitely needs them! I would love it if she pulled through and made it for my own selfish reasons....but I realize that she is tired of being sick and constnatly in and out of the hospital. The doctors have told us to prepare for the worst and I honestly just think Nannie is just worn out. We're just trying to make sure that she is comfortable and that all of her requests are honored.

Here is a picture of Nannie, mom, and me on Christmas this year.

That is a lovely picture of the three generations! Good vibes that your Nan is comfortable in what may be her last days. ANd good luck for you - it sounds as if your future is coming together well on all fronts.

Thankyou everyone for your kind comments and all of the vibes & prayers! I appreciate it. If you guys don't mind sparing a few more, my ear could use it! Yes, I have ANOTHER ear infection! I swear I've had a million this year! It's in the ear I just had surgery on back in November. Hopefully this one will go away quickly though.

To confirm suspicions, yes- Jack is pretty amazing!
I can't believe it will already be 9 months on the 18th! It's crazy! I didn't know if it would even be possible for me to date or fall in love again after my divorce a while back, but I'm soo very happy I was proven wrong!
I couldn't be happier or more in love with him! I don't think God could have found a better match for me!
(Did I mention he likes Isabella and is the first human other than me who she has EVER let mess with her?? Could be all the treats he gives her when he visits
He's determined to be her friend!)

As far as school goes- I had a test today (did well on it!!) and I have my oral boards are on Wed./Thrs this week. I am quite terrified about those!!! Please send lots of vibes I do well!! Those oral boards determine me passing and going onto clinicals pretty much! My written boards are being pushed back to Monday because we had a snow day...so that's great since I'll have a little extra time to study for it! (I also have class on Saturday to make up for our snow day- blah!). Somewhere between tomorrow and next week I have some more CPR certification/ testing stuff to do as well. It's gonna be a crazy week! I turned in my request for the hospital I want today, I'm praying if all goes well and I pass this session, that I get it!

Some of you have asked how my Nannie is doing. She is about the same today as she was when I posted last. My mom was at the hospital with her earlier today, and now my aunt is up there with her. We're just taking it one day at a time and cherishing every moment we have with her.
