Does anyone have experience with the rare "odd-eyed" cats (one blue and one green eye)?

I have read about them, but never encountered one. I am intrigued as they must have a very striking appearance!

I actually owned two odd-eye cats. One was my breeding Cornish Rex queen (odd-eye white). The other was a HHP picked up from the city streets by my aunt and I adopted her as soon as she told me. Muffin was a very rare odd-eye black & white bicolor! She was a perfectly marked bicolor and had one deep blue eye and one green eye.

She won a ton of ribbons and trophies in the show rings.

Turkish Van Cats and Turkish Angora's are known to have odd eyes too. From gold to green to blue. They're very pretty.

A few months ago, I was looking at the rescue cats at PetsMart. They had a beautiful white odd eyed cat. She was absolutely stunning. If I didn't have my two, I would have seriously considered adopting her. She was totally deaf.

A couple of weeks later, I was in the same store and talked to the rescue lady running the event. She said that a couple of older ladies were looking at the cat. At least one of the ladies was deaf herself, and when she found out that cat was deaf, she immediately adopted her! So one adult kitty found a forever home!

Japanese bobtails are considered more highly desirable with odd-colored eyes or the traditional mi-ke fur color (calico).

Never had one though. Aya is mi-ke but has matching eyes.

I don't own one but they are absolutely beautiful and I've judged many.

They're very common in Persians (traditionally in White but bicolour popularity is growing too!)

I didn't know they were very common in Persians.

I've never owned an odd-eyed white (my white kitties are blue eyed), however have seen many come through the shelter. We even had one black/white bi-color kitten come in about 5 months old with 2 different colored eyes!

My Sampson has bi-colored eyes. He is deaf and the sweetest boy ever!!
He is the biggest lap cat and our personal fuzzy blanket at night.

Marshmallow has one gold eye, one green eye. The color differences are so subtle that he was here for weeks before I finally figured out why his eyes looked so strange. I could tell there was something "funny" about his eyes from across the room, but I had to get up close and personal before I saw that his eyes are actually different colors.
He is a black and white cow style DLH, BTW.
