Well, last night on the way home from work, my brak pedal was going down to the floor a little sooner than it should have. I took it into the shop and am now carless

I hope it's not too expensive...we literally just spent $1000 on it on New Years.

A coworker of mine is giving me a ride today..thankfully! I do not want to take the bus

afternoon all

Im not up to a great deal today, im just about to get lunch.

Im quite tired today i went to see the cats last night, and they look so fit and healthy since moving out the flat we have been able to afford decent food for them.

not sure what to do this evening i might go on the wii for a few hours

Good morning!

Last day of work this week for me. And we're having a soup-and-salad lunch here. I made the salad and made my Honey French Dressing last night. One of the guys is bringing Ham and Bean Soup; another is bringing Broccoli Cheddar Soup and a loaf of Italian bread. My GF is making her famous (famous around here) Buffalo Chicken Dip and another is bringing something for dessert. Should be a good lunch.

DH and I took vacation days tomorrow to do some shopping with friends and to go out for dinner tomorrow night. We're going to visit a big farmers market tomorrow, then hit some outlets before dinner.

On Saturday, my sister, her daughter, her soon-to-be DIL, my DIL, my SIL, and me are all going out to a local winery, followed by shopping and then dinner. We've decided to do a "Women Only" day every so often, so that we can all get together and have a good time. There are six of us, so it will be a lot of fun. The guys are all coming over to our house to do some work in our basement. DH and I are remodeling the basement and we're at the drywall stage, so with the six of them, hopefully they can get most of it done on Saturday.

So we will have a nice weekend....well, I don't know if the guys will. But we will.

Morning everyone! I'm not feeling too great today as I ended up with a migraine before I went to bed last night, but I can at least function.

Not much going on today other than work really. We have my little brother tonight. He is 16, has Down Syndrome and is the love of my life. My Mom is a single mother and fulltime nurse and she works nights, so when she works, my brother stays with us so that he's with people he trusts and that way Mom doesn't have to pay for a babysitter.

Mornin....

I did not wake up well.

In fact I woke to an excrutiating pain in my hand, one that I have never ever felt before in my life. That coming from the queen of hand/arm probs says something right there. I said to my hubby, thru my tears: maybe this is my body's way of telling me it CAN get worse.

It seems to be easing, whether that is cuz its easing, or cuz my painkillers are starting to work, I don't know....but I will take it, cuz this was not nice.

Anyways....

had my surgeon appt. (will find that thread and update it for anyone who may be going thru similiar issues).... and now I play the waiting game. Wait for a phonecall with a surgery date for my right hand.

In the meantime, I need to make a list of to-do stuff because now that I know what recovery is like, I know how to prepare for it. ( making some personal meals and freezing them.... making a snake feeding list...etc. )

Nothing on the plan for today.

I'm done physio till my next surgery.....

Massage therapy tomorrow.
