A family on a local village bulletin board has been searching for their newly adopted, one year old German Shepherd who ran away a few days ago. They believe he's been sighted a few times, and they're searching looking desperately for him. They said he's very friendly, but also very shy and probably won't come to a stranger calling. It's gotten very cold here in Glen Ellyn.

Please send good thoughts that Azzo is found very soon. Thank you.

Thank you for your vibes - unfortunately, on the village bulletin board, I see that Azzo still has not been found. I really appreciate your good wishes...I don't know this dog or family either, but it's just so cold, the family is still searching everywhere, and I feel so badly for this poor boy. Please keep them in your thoughts. Thank you.

I hope he does come home soon. Poor guy is probably very confused if they've just recently adopted him.

Hi darlili. We're looking for him too up in our end of town. Vibes for Azzo and his family for a safe return.

Azzo's family updated the bulletin board - sadly, they were notified by the Highway Patrol that Azzo had been hit and killed by a car near a major expressway last night - he had really wandered fairly far from his home.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their good wishes, and if they could say a little prayer for Azzo and his family, I'd appreciate it.

Condolences to Azzo's family, and to his community who has lost that poor dog. Poor guy - he must have been so scared & confused...I'd like to think of a "people angel" waiting on the roadway, invisible to us, but known by Azzo, tellling him softly, "C'mon boy, let's go Home"..
