The rescue I am working with received donated cans of cat food. They gave me some to see if my boys would eat it. They did. It was Old Mother Hubbard CAT food - beef and chicken.

Now I am trying to find it someplace... its not a GREAT food, but mixed with something else it's fine.

Come to find that OMH is same company as Wellness... BUT I cannot find CAT FOOD with that brand on it. I will have to fish the last can out of the garbage to see if there is info.

Anyone have a clue here?

Yes - not nearly as good as Wellness, but not bad. Listed ingredients were (as I recall) beef by-products, beef, beef broth, beef liver, chicken bp, chicken, ck liver... ...... farther down were potato starch and wheat flour. No artificial flavors or colors like FF, for instance.

My guys won't EAT Wellness. So If I can mix this with, say..... By Nature/Brandon Farms chicken or beef... and get them to EAT it... well.. .I am doing ok.

I just emailed them asking.

Yeah... donated food and I didn't check. It smelled fine and the guys snarfed it up. I still have a can... I will look at the bottom.

ETA: Yes, the food was old. Happens when stuff goes to a rescue. Best use by date was LAST January. However, it was just fine. I am guessing they don't make it anymore.
