I'm trying to do two things:

1. Stop feeding so much fish
2. Get Cindy to eat something other than Fancy Feast.

Would any of these foods would be good to try? I got the list off a web site that sells single cans. It will be expensive with shipping and such, but if I can find something Cindy will eat I can order a case from a local store. Thanks.

My boys LOVE the Weruva and Tiki Cat chicken flavors. They are both shredded chicken in gravy and they always lick the bowl clean!

First of all, my cats do not like canned food. But these are the ones I have tried:

Natureâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s Variety
I have tried chicken and lamb. I think they are a little bit too hard in texture, but you can always add some water to it.

Solid Gold
I tried the tuna blend, and one of my cats does not like it, but he does not like fish in general.
I think it will be a good addition to the diet once a week.

Taste of the Wild
It is big chunks in gravy. I heard cats love it, but not my cats. They licked off the gravy and did not have a piece of the meat. But I think it is worth trying.

Of the ones on your list that I've tried, Weruva was the biggest hit. They have a pretty good selection of grain-free (if that's what you're looking for) and non-fish flavors, and they're all shredded meat in sauce. Honestly, some of it looks good enough I could eat it myself.

Tiki Cat was well liked, too, but for some reason my local pet store only stocks the flavors with fish, and like you, I try to avoid too much fish.

Also, I thought I heard once that Solid Gold is made in China. Is that true?
Not sure on either ///

Last I heard Solid gold got their fish in Thai waters...

my kitties love the venison and fish, like the venison, and hate the lamb. This is IMO the BEST wet food out there, but very pricey.

Here is my feedback. I have to mix FF or Nutro with the better stuff in order to get my guys to eat it. They have been liking Merrick's lately - you know- Surf n Turf, Granny's Pot Pie... I throw a little FF in there and they go to town.

Taste of the Wild - my boys LOVE the dry AND the wet!
Tiki Cat - could only get fishy ones. They liked alot. Sardines and Tuna/Tilapie/rice
Timberwolf Organics

Just this week we tried two new brands: BFF (4 flavors) which Neko LOVED!!!! and I'm happy it's grain free! and Merrick's canned (2 flavors) which she HATED!
Its interesting how I've noticed an eating habit of Neko's that tells me whether she will like it or not. She just wont walk away like some kitties, she gives it a trial taste...
Merrick canned: she stands, smells the food for quite some seconds, licks, smells, bury, and walk away...
BFF: stands, smell, lick, and SIT ta-da! When she sits I know its gotta be good! sit and then gobble her whole serving!

Can someone tell me from the list above (OP's) which foods are pate styles or close to pate. Im tired of buying new foods that end up being chunks or sliced meats in gravy that Neko will not eat! She didn't mind BFF texture which wasn't completely pate...
So far faves in wet include: BFF, Avoderm, Purina Pro Plan Selects, Nutro, and Authority.
