Someone's jealous!

*She* used to be the most beautiful cat in the house, now she feels that Lola is giving her a run for her money. She sticks to me like glue, and drags the camera around for pictures (or maybe she just wants to play with the string )

Here are a few long overdue pictures of Eden - she has gotten very dark for 4 years old!

Hmm not really dark for a 4 year old. I've been trying to look for a link to show how the body colouring can change. It's fascinating that a Pointed cat can have a clear coat at 12 months, darken at 3-4 years, lighten at 8 and then darken again at 12 (ages are just used as examples!) But yes Point colouring is affected by temperature, among other things.

My Imhotep has darkened considerably over the years. When I first adopted him, he was almost completely cream.

She's beautiful no matter how dark or light she is - I find it interesting & have been watching her coat to see how it changes from summer to fall to winter - can't wait to see what happens this spring. She was fairly dark already when I got her, I presumed due to living outdoors for most of her life. I might have to go good seal point color changes now.

My Siamese Milly is a sealpoint and she's also four years old.
Her coat is pretty dark too but I think it does get darker during the long cold winters.
I think Eden's coloring is just perfect, give her a hug and kiss from me.
