Two weeks ago this coming Sunday while at church, one of the gentleman came up to us and asked if that little green car was ours. It was and he told us that our tires on the front were falling apart. He said he thought he had two tires that might fit our car.

After church, we were following him to his house when he turned into a tire store. He said he remembered the tires he had were different sizes. He bought us 4 brand new tires!!! We are having severe financial problems right now. He and his wife took us out to lunch too!

DH wanted to pay him back when I get my tax money, but he said that they were a gift and God told him to buy them for us.

It was a real blessing because if one of the tires blew out while I was on the freeway, I probably would have gotten in an accident. And with all the rain we have had this week, I feel safer!

God is powerful and wonderful, isn't he??? I'm sure He will provide you with a way to help another in need

When we were at our old house, we needed someone that could rewire part of the house (hubby knows house wiring but not the kind that would be wired to the major source outside). We didn't discuss this except between us and God about our need.

At a yard sale we held, we had a man (we didn't know him) come to us and say "I'm an electrician and can do side jobs - do you need help?" We looked at each other and KNEW that only God could have sent this man to help us out!

Angels come in many forms and when you least expect it. The time will come when you can " pay it forward" some way for someone who needs it.

It makes me much happier to be human when I read things like this. Thank you for sharing. There is so much negativity in the world and in the news, it's really nice to read when people do things to help another out!

Be safe.

I so agree!

What a wonderful gesture on his part!!! I love stories like this!!

I'll bet he had fallen on hard times at one time and someone helped him and he is now paying it forward.

PS: Chynna and I have our own "angel" story from 2 years ago, and when I got back on my feet, I started to pay it forward!

I'm so glad you're safer on the road now... and I'm so glad for that man, too, because he must feel wonderful. I've always felt that, of all the gifts in life, the very best one is the chance to be a giver.

I agree. God blessed you by sending this very generous man. Now there will be some way you can bless somebody else. Be prepared to do so. It doesn't always have to be finances.

What a wonderful person! If you feel compelled to give something back you could probably bake the couple something- I tend to bake for people because I enjoy it : )
