I got a new camera right before Christmas (it's a Canon Canon Rebel XS -- my dream camera!!) and here's some pictures of my sweet kitties I've taken recently...

Wilbur the "stray" cat...




Shatner...


Torrie...

I know exactly how you feel, I got my Canon Rebel for Christmas after wanting it desperatly!

Your babies are so beautiful! Torrie has such a sweet face!

They're so cute! I just wanna curl up next to Titus and pass out, LOL!

and YAY for cameras! I have the XTI and I'm SOOO badly wanting to upgrade to the T1i!

O know what ya mean. I've already told my husband that if I can get really good at taking photographs I can start selling them and upgrading my camera

I bought that camera when it first came out three years ago, although there was not XS designation at that time. What does the XS signify? I have never wanted to add a telephoto lense; the 18-50 that came with the camera is what I wanted. Wide angle is what I wanted, I have no use for telescopic. Especially when taking picutures indoors you can get the whole room at 18mm. And of course for taking pictures of cats it is great.

I'm not sure about the XS and what it stands for. I think they upgraded the CMOS chip in it....maybe it has something to do with that. I do want to get a telephoto lens. It's on my list of many things to get for this camera.
