I got a new camera right before Christmas (it's a Canon Canon Rebel XS -- my dream camera!! ) and here's some pictures of my sweet kitties I've taken recently...

Lovely photos! Shatner looks high. Just how much nip did you give him? I want to smush Titus' big belly!

That camera takes great pictures...or maybe I should say you are a great photographer....

I know exactly how you feel, I got my Canon Rebel for Christmas after wanting it desperatly!

and YAY for cameras! I have the XTI and I'm SOOO badly wanting to upgrade to the T1i!

Considering a lot of you like Titus' picture I thought I'd share this one taken during the same session. I LOVE the look on his face It's like "Ugh, get that camera out of my face"

O know what ya mean. I've already told my husband that if I can get really good at taking photographs I can start selling them and upgrading my camera

I bought that camera when it first came out three years ago, although there was not XS designation at that time. What does the XS signify? I have never wanted to add a telephoto lense; the 18-50 that came with the camera is what I wanted. Wide angle is what I wanted, I have no use for telescopic. Especially when taking picutures indoors you can get the whole room at 18mm. And of course for taking pictures of cats it is great.
