They are adorable. Intersting how like baby cougars the baby Sand cats have spotting and it tickes out as an adult to more of an Aby look.

You can tell they are not domestic but look darn close to it. I'm sure those cats are in our domestic cat gene pool.

Awww... Terribly cute. I know they are wild animals and very endangered ones at that, but they greatly resemble domestic kitties.

I was doing some reading up on the Arabian Sand Cat a few minutes ago and they are a small cat- average weight is 6 lbs. It's been a while since Charlotte and Everest were last weighed, but Midnight wasn't much heavier than that. Shadow was almost three times that weight.

They are stunning. Wiki said that the first four kittens born in captivity were being raised in the UAE since 2007. The kittens at the Cincinnati Zoo were born on October 29, 2009.

There's a story about it on http://www.zooborns.com/zooborns/201...nnati-zoo.html as well that has photos and a video.

If anyone needs a daily dosage of cute, then go to zooborns.com - it has baby zoo animals from all over the world, and they are so adorable! There's a baby gibbon story that just got put up in the last day or so, and the video is SO adorable!!!!

I love Sand Cats, they are adorable. I saw the adults there a few years ago, when I was at a convention with the Feline Conservation Federation. The Cincinnati Zoo has a great wildcat selection and an excellent Cheetah program too. Was there to see the running of the Cheetahs, so cool

They have that same 'domestic' look in their eyes as our regular domestic cats. Those ears are just soo funny looking, too cute.
