Good Morning!

Here's today's Question Of The Day (thanks Rigel!)

How many pairs of shoes do you own? Styles, colors, etc?

Oh my....I'm kind of embarrassed to admit my shoe fetish. I quit counting when I reached 50. I wear a really hard to find size, so when I find a shoe that fits, I get a pair in every color that it's made in. I have about a dozen pair in the 'current favorite' category. I have gazillions that I haven't worn in years....and even quite a few that have never been worn. Oh yeah, I've definitely got issues. I'm not exactly IMELDA MARCOS, but I probably need therapy. Ahhh, retail therapy. Shopping! Perhaps for shoes?

Shoes? Probably about 25 pairs. Sandals, sneakers, walkers, clogs, boots, etc. I have a serious boot fetish.

No where close to 50! (I envy you
)

OK, don't laugh. I have 2 pairs of sneakers, but one pair is too big so I don't wear them. One pair of shoe boots and one pair of dress shoes that gather dust in my closet.

Once I had to go to a funeral and only had white flats. It was the fall and in those days it wasn't "fashionable" to wear white in the fall. So, I painted them black with craft paint! It took two coats. At the funeral home it started to rain! Luckily the light wasn't very good. I had lighter blotches of grey all over the shoes!

I have probably about 10. Most of my shoes are flats. It is the only thing I really wear, other than flip flops in the summer.

I probably have around 2 dozen pairs. I try to only have 1 pair for each "category" that I wear a lot (1 work-out shoe, 1 black boot, 1 brown boot, 1 red flat, etc.) that way I don't buy too much or buy something I would never wear...

On the floor and shoe rack, are the 'season shoes' and ones I wear frequently - these are easy to see and get to. In boxes on a high shelf, are the out of season shoes (sandals) and then my 'formal' type shoes I wear like 2x a year.

I own a pair of bowling shoes.
They're literally falling apart now so I may need to replace them soon.

If we count shoes in the garage, like water shoes for the yard, lawn mowing shoes, and cheap snow boots for shoveling driveway, then I may have to add 3 more.

3 pairs of flip-flops one for everything, and two 'dressy' styles with heels.
4 pairs of tennis shoes, one pair of 'cut out' type for summer, one pair of grubby high tops for every day, one pair of Z-coils and one pair of nice nikes for dressier casual stuff.
2 pairs of sandals, one pair is a neutral dress type and one pair is a sport type for boating, beaches etc.
2 pairs of boots, one pair of high heel dress boots, one pair of motorcycle boots.
1 pair of real moccasins because they are quite comfy, especially when my feet are swollen.
1 pair of Skechers dress slippers, I love them because they wear like tennis shoes.

So 13 pairs of shoes.

I am anti-shoe, barefoot hippe chick born just a tad too late.

I have a pair of sandles, pretty, strappy ones. Boots, of course, I do live in WI with all the snow, a pair of black shoes that can sort of be described as gym shoes, my CNA shoes, whiter than white, I hate them, a pair of black mid heel pumps, and thats it. Except for Moccasins!!!
Love, love, love moccasins!
Best thing to be in except for bare feet!
Only have one pair at the moment, must shop!

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Hmmm Im not a shoe fan but I cant resist buying shoes if I really really will wear them. I have my everyday lounging generic Ugg boots. Working books for outside stuff and stacking wood or helping BF. My nice Polo boots and a nice pair of Polo navy and white sneakers. My cowboy boots for fancy occasions. Black skid proof work shoes that I will never wear again if I have a choice in the matter. Fancy smancy heeled sandals that I bought for a wedding and will probably never wear again but for 3 bucks you cant beat that. My 7 yr old adidas sandals that I will NEVER throw away unless the strap falls off and then I will replace them with the same exact style and have them for another 7 yrs lol..and about 3 or 4 pairs of flip flops for the summertime that are mostly bought for under 5 bucks.
I may have a lot of shoes but every pair I have Ive owned for more than a year and will never replace unless or until the are unwearable anymore. So I probably wont need shoes for another 4 yrs lol....

Probably about ten-fifteen, not including flip flops (which I probably have 10 of, I live in them in the summer,
)

I've got three pair of sneaker type shoes. Actually just bought a new pair last night to replace some that were getting kind of worn out! A couple of pair of boots, several pairs of strappy heels, some Mary Jane type heels. I really love shoes but it's hard to find my size (9 1/2- 10 and I have very narrow feet),
.

I really don't know and don't feel like counting them right now. I do have 3 of those hanging shoe bags filled and lots of shoes on the floor of the closet. I got rid of bags of shoes when I moved last May, I hadn't worn some of them in years so put them in a bin for the less fortunate. I don't work outside the house so I actually live in sneakers and have various colors and styles. I am more of a purse freak than a shoe addict.

Nice to see quite a few of us ladies are not part of the stereotype! Although I confess I WOULD be if I had better feet.
I hate being in pain so i avoid all those lovely heels and strappy things. <tear>

I have about 10 shoes. boot for winter, sneakers, sandals and a few dressy shoes. I had more but weeded out the painful ones that I always regret wearing just because they are "cute" with an outift and I can't walk for the rest of the day.

I don't hold onto shoes that I don't wear, so I have:

2 pairs of boots
3 pairs of sandals
1 pair of dressy shoes

Timely question since this morning I'm off to buy a pair of leather Converse X-hi tops... I tried them on last week and love them - I'm excited!

A lot? lol I don't know exactly. I have a few pairs that I regularly rotate between, and they are:

Rocket Dog dark brown suede velcro shoes.

Keen Coronado

Keen Ventura

Keen Newport (mine are this same color but instead of canvas mine are a tan suede)

I also wear plain black Target brand flip flops a lot in the summer. Can you tell I like Keen shoes?? lol I have quite a few shoes that I don't really wear, plus some dressier shoes that I rarely wear since I rarely dress up.

I want to get these Rocket Dog shoes, but they might be too similar to the Keen shoes I already have http://www.zappos.com/multiview/7498391/190721

I have about 25-30 pair of shoes however, that being said, I am a HUGE bargain/thrift shopper, and I never pay full price for anything.

I used to own a lot of shoes, but I donated a lot of them and threw away others. I have about 8-10 pairs of shoes, which includes sandals/open toe, closed toe shoes, boots, sneakers/running shoes..I am happy to have only what I wear, if I don't wear a pair of shoes for a year I throw them away or donate them.
My boyfriend has 2 pairs, sneakers and more formal looking ones for the office.
