I wasn't sure exactly where this would go. It's not exactly an IMO, where it could be. But I thought this was touching, and actually beautiful.

And I agree. I think she did the best thing, for all involved.

I put up a warning. I didn't think about it when I posted it. The end was what made it all worth so much. Kids are so smart.

I just wish she would have taken her child to be with him at the moment of death. A lot of people think this is too hard for children, but it usually isn't. Obviously people have to go on a case by case basis with each child, but considering his reaction to his father while he was alive and sick and the way he reacted after his father died, without seeing his dad at the time of death- it seems he would have benefited from being there.
