I just joined, I'm Paige, and I have 12 cats. My friends make fun of me for it, but we get strays that have kittens outside our house, and of course we catch them fall in love with them, and are stuck with them. All my cats have random names, and I love every one of them Their all weird and different.

Hi there we're so happy to get the chance to welcome you and your lovely furfamily to TCS.

We have plenty of members here who are involved with Cat Rescue. I'm sure they could give you plenty of advice to make sure that you don't get stuck with all the homeless kitties in the neighbourhood. We don't want you to be overun after all! Try posting in the Cats SOS forum, I'm sure you'll find plenty of helpful hints there.

As you dont start your question on the Stray-forum as suggested above, I try a give short tip here and now.

The key is to neuter as many of these homeless (and adopted) as possible.
Next key is to try to find them homes if possible. Their old homes if they are strays.
Or new homes in all others cases.

It is dangerous for the rescuer and cat lover to adopt all the cats herself. There is the danger you may end as a hoarder if you dont watch out...

Thankyou for all the welcomes and helpful advice! I do actually have 2 kittens I'm trying to find homes for, they are so sweet, and I just hope that I find homes soon, as they're getting bigger. I definitely don't plan on taking in more, but I will keep feeding them. I actually had my brother build a mini house to put on my porch and they take shelter in there. I'm moving in maybe late September and my mom is only letting me take one or two of the cats with me, which is not an easy decision to make. Hopefully where I'm going, there aren't as many strays for me to want to keep.
