I was just searching to see if I could find the Friskies canned my cats eat cheaper than I have been paying. They all eat it because I have a diabetic and it is on the diabetic cat food list.

Well, it's 1.02 per can from PFD for a 13 oz can. I can get it for .70 a can at Walmart. Why would anyone buy from this place when they are so expensive? Their ad says "save". Yea, I guess I will save, because I won't be paying 1.02 per can plus delivery!

They have a nerve trying to make you believe you are getting a deal!

End of rant, have a great day!

I find that pet food direct is more costly too. And, they won't ship USPS, only UPS or FedEx. I had to pay an extra $15 to get my order sent to my PO Box. I will never order from them again.

I think as with anything of significant weight the cost savings is going to vary by ur location. I save a fortune with petfooddirect especially if I have a coupon code and avoid shipping costs. I get evo 95% meat 13.2 cans for 1.79 if I bought them in store here they'd be like 2.59 They are only shipping about 300 miles to me though as well that changes things too. I would never even think of using it for cheaper foods I personally don't feel that's its purpose.

I have used Petfooddirect and had good results, but I use the 20% coupons.

I use PetFoodDirect. I have a cat with allergies and he eats the EVO 95% canned foods. I pay $1.79/13oz can from PFD and feed stores sell it between $2.39-$2.99/13oz can. I get coupons emailed to me and that discount basically equals the cost of shipping making it either free or very little. Additionally, I don't have to spend gas money or take the time to go to the store. So yes, I definitely save money.

I just ordered food 3 days ago, and with standard shipping I already had it today. PFD also has great customer service IMO. I've received cases of food where cans were dented and they sent me a new case right away AND I didn't have to send the damaged one back.

Some things on PFD are cheaper, but I think a lot of it is based on location. For me to ship anything ends up being expensive based on location.

ETA: Keep in mind for me to get any premium cat foods I have to drive 50 miles/an hour one way to get to the pet store.

I have also ordered from PFD in the past and called them about returning some food that my cats wouldn't eat. I only had to send in a label from one can and they refunded my money and just told me to donate the unopened cans to a shelter.
