Morning peeps!

Another mild one here today but we may get some freezing rain later this morning

I am off to work in a bit...kind of without my morning coffee...not sure what was wrong but there was floaties in it. It didn't seem to come from the coffee itself or from the milk. No idea what happened there but I will have one at work

Going to fitness class tonight...that is all folks!

well i dont think im doing much today, just had lunch and i think i might do a bit of job hunting this afternoon.

its quite nice here today it feels fresh outside like a crisp autumn day

Good morning......

I'm off work today for the Martin Luther King holiday. Need to do some house work and laundry this morning and then my sister and I are doing a bit of shopping this afternoon.

Also today, I want to make some vegetarian chili for the freezer. And some Italian pinwheel rolls for the freezer. We try to keep our freezer stocked with dishes that can be quickly reheated in the microwave because I have a lot of work-related meetings in late afternoons and early evenings. It's nice to know that there's something at home that we can make quickly and not have to hit a restaurant or take-out.

We're to get into the 40s again today, although it's grey and overcast. There were quite a few traffic accidents last night due to rain that turned into freezing rain and freezing fog. Everything glazed over in some of the higher elevations. Thankfully, we were OK in our area. But it sure was foggy up on our hill.

Morning:

Slightly foggy, mild here again today......slowly our snow piles are melting. Slow is good, otherwise we'll have flooding issues as the sewers won't keep up.

I woke at 6:30 this morn, but was in bed early yesterday. The day didn't start off great, with my 13yr old being well, a 13yr old LOL.

Not much doing today, still taking it easy after having a couple bad days with the weather changes.

I have to hunt for another lost snake

I am so glad they can't escape the snake room.... it is so much easier just having one room to look in, rather than a house full of danger.

Gonna try to catch up with a few friends via email today, that's bout it.

well my plans have changed im going into work for a couple of hours this afternoon and fingers crossed coz im going in i cn find out how you change the gas an once ive learnt that then i can find somewhere that can help me get my pub managers course/qualification

Rather foggy damp day here. We're in a winter thaw, but you just know there's a big freeze around the corner.
Not much on the agenda for today. I just got home last night after a week away, so I have some housework stuff to do.

Morning,

I'm off today as well. The lab is closed for the MLK holiday. I'll be trying to work on my dissertation from home today. I think I can finish it with 3-4 good solid days of work, but I'm finding it so hard to stay motivated right now. At some point I need to run out and drop off my recycling. I loaded it up on Saturday night and I have to either take it today or unload it. I also need to run by the PetSmart to get some litter, but it's across town. I may wait until after my meeting at UT tomorrow since it's near there.

Morning everybody!

Well Josh is FINALLY on his way home,

. So today is going to be spent cleaning up my hermit cave,

. The apartment looks like a natural disaster hit. Whoops....

I'm debating whether to cook a nice fancy dinner for him, but since he had a stomach virus the last two days, not sure how he feels about food yet.

Other than that the only thing on the agenda is finishing reading my book. Mutant Messenger Down Under by Marlo Morgan. If you're into cultural/spiritual books I definitely recommend it!

Morning. Big bad storms this week in California apparently... it rained here a bit yesterday, and then got SUPER WINDY overnight and is still really windy. It's really loud, it kept waking me up. Anyway last I read there was the potential to get our season's rainfall all this week. That would be interesting...

Anyway, I think the only thing I actually HAVE to go out to do today is drop off a package at FedEx. Otherwise I can be a hermit. Today or tomorrow I am going to make split pea soup, it's been a while since I made it. This week is a good soup week.

Also I have to update my resume and register on CalJobs.. fun times!

But for now I am drinking my coffee and playing for a bit.

Good afternoon. Not doing much other than enjoying my last day off till spring break! I have classes monday-friday and work on the weekends

Yep, I know it's almost Tuesday morning, but I haven't gotten on the puter tonight until a few minutes ago, Today has been Springlike weather here. My sister and I went to see the movie THE LOVELY BONES late this afternoon. It's pretty good, I think it sticks pretty much to the book. After that we stopped by our favorite Chinese Restaurant to pick up supper. Most of the rest of the night has just been watching TV.
