I estimate I get about 6 hours a night, because I wake up frequently every night. If I happen to sleep more than normal, I am very groggy all day. On weekends I take a nap each day, which I find very refreshing.

I voted not sure because it varies from day to day. I work swing at a hotel so on the days I work 3rd I usually get right around 6-8 (unless the wretched neighbors wake me up with their remodel project). On the days I work back to back (3rd -> 2nd) I get 4-5, and on the rare days that I get to sleep in working 2nd I get probably close to 10. I savor laying in bed those days to 'make up' for the lack of sleep on the others.

I'm in bed for 8 hours, but I read before going to sleep and wake up before the alarm so probably get around 6 hours.

im sleeping less and less i know why though

im cutting back on my alcohol intake which was helping me sleep on a night time after the last couple of months its been a good little crutch but a couple of wise friends have shown me that i really dont need it

so gradually ive crept up from about 2 hours to about 3 and a half now

About 7, if I go to bed when I'm sleepy and sleep until I wake up.

Usually I get around 6, but last night I got 8. I think all the 5 hr nights finally caught up because hubby and I are both having issues getting out of bed these days
Or maybe its just that cold snap of weather we had this last month.

I chose 4-6 hours because I don't really sleep all that much on a nightly basis. I'll sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up. I try to be in bed by midnight and my usual wake-up time is around 6:00 a.m. to be in my office by 8:00.

Even when I "sleep in" on weekends, I'm still normally up around 7:00. I love the day and love to get an early start on things I want to do. I'm off work today, but got up around 6:30.

I suffer from insomnia (have my whole life, even when I was a child) so I take a sleeping pill just about every night. At least work nights. I take my pill at 9 and it takes an hour to kick in, then I go to bed usually within an hour from that, so anywhere from 10-11pm, then I get up at 7:30am on work days.

Another vote for not sure, because it varies.

I have sleeping problems which my medication doesn't help. ( it will help me stay asleep if I can get to sleep, but even tho its supposed to help with the falling asleep, it doesn't )

The rest of my family tho:

DH: 8-9hrs
DD 13yr old: 8-10
DD 9yr old: 11hrs

me: I can function on 4hrs +. If I get less than 4hrs, I'm nonfunctioning.

I wake up at around 5am cuz Autumn wants to be fed, then I go back to bed and tho it takes awhile to fall back to sleep, I finally do. Then I get up whenever I feel like it, between 10 and 11am give or take. I am retired so my days are all mine to do whatever I want with them. Never was a morning person so I try to sleep them away, lol.

Anywhere from 6-8 hours. I go to bed around 3am-4am and wake up between 10am-12pm for work. I work nights so..

But also, I always feel the most refreshed after about 7 hours. But if I have to get up to go to work I'll procrastinate getting up. Today I procrastinated so much EG came and sat on my pillow giving me a face full of fur. As if to say. "Get up meowmy! Isie is hungry and picking on me."

I never get enough sleep

Today I actually went and got an over the counter sleep aid since for about a month I have had insomnia. It comes and goes throughout my life, but it's worst when I have a lot to think about.

I HATE lying there wide awake, knowing that I am going to be a wreck the next day and I have tried all the natural remedies. When I get desperate I try neo-citran.

4-6 hours for me depending if I am working an early shift, in which case I'm asleep by twelve at the latest and awake at 5am.

On my days off or late shifts, I get up to 6 hours and still have the habit of waking early between 7-8am

I chose 4 to 6, but I'd guess it's much closer to 4 hours. My back has been bothering me again, so I sleep for a couple of hours and wake up in pain. I have to walk around for a while, which makes it difficult to fall asleep again. Quite possibly less than four hours, now that I think about it.
