Marlow (social progress)

With all my posting about Marlow's and Sasha's health issues I failed to inform everyone that Marlow gave the go ahead to pet him. (head butt to the left hand) I have been petting and scritching the back of his neck for several days now.

He has real soft fur.

Some perhaps useful details about gaining Marlows trust.
A) It doesn't hurt that I'm in between jobs right now and am home most of the time.
B) Little things that I think made a difference. Such as whenever I would approach him, if he did not see me, I would always get his attention first. Usually an excuse me. This was any time I had to go near or past him. No startling him. He startles easily.
When I walk past him I would always angle my back to him as much as possible. This subtle body positioning is what got him to stay put instead of having to bolt every time I had to get near him.
C) The stuff I learned here that you already know. Such as not looking him in the eye for more than a second at a time.

The coolest thing to me is how his fur feels. Completely different than Sasha's. To see them side by side you would say Marlow was the biggest. At only 8.6lbs, Marlow is almost 3lbs. lighter than Sasha.
