Do you like the State or Country you live in and would you locate somewhere else if you could and where would that be.

I live in NJ but would like to be back in San Diego where I lived back in the 70's. I came back cuz my family lived here. I have regretted that move many times since.

I don't particularly like all of California, but I'm absolutely in love with my tiny town of Needles out here on old Route 66 with all of the nostaligia surrounding it.
Needles is no place to raise a family though, and really no place for anyone under 21.

I've always lived in PA, and within a 10-mile radius of my hometown. I love it here--very pretty. My Mom, who is British, says the countryside areas remind her of home. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be, even though the other states I've travelled to are quite nice, too. I like the change of seasons; I think I'd be bored in a temperate climate, though I would NOT miss driving uphill in snow!

I live near family, so I'm fine where I am. The summers are hot and humid, the winters can be brutal....but family is what makes 'home' for me, so I am content.

I've always lived in Wisconsin but I wouldn't mind a house on the lake (like in Door County, Wisconsin!)

I live in TN. I love the mild winters and sweltering summers but I would love to move somewhere tropical. I have always wanted to live near the ocean. Maybe somewhere like Key West

I live in Omaha, NE and have my whole life. We want to move to the Dallas area eventually, but right as we were seriously thinking about it the housing market took a dump. We couldn't sell our house for enough right now, but once the market comes back up we plan to move.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Well, we wound up here because of work, though we swore we'd never live in NJ.
I like it well enough - it's beautiful. Our home is on wheels, and we've lived in SO MANY places when we were actively on the road for 9-10 years.... I wish Gary's health permitted us to continue to travel.

We used to dream of buying a home in Northern WI or the UP (Upper Peninsula of MI) - we found an AMAZING house on Running Cloud Island in Trout Lake not far from Minoqua... but I'm really glad we don't live that far north now, because I can barely stand these winters.
My parents moved to Birmingham a few years ago, where my sister lives... I wouldn't mind being further south - I really don't know where. I loved Naples, FL - but it's gotten so crowded and busy, I don't think I'd want to live there now.

I live in NYC and I love it. The only other place I would want to live, if it were possible, would be Scotland. Love Scotland.

I like England, my family and friend are her but I feel there is more to life. I love snow and would love to live somewhere that has snow all the time
(thats a dream) but I also miss my Grandad who lives in Ontario so much, he is 79 and I have missed out on so much time with him, hecannot afford to get over her much and we can no way afford to see him, the last time I went to Canada was when I was 8 and I am 27 now, I haven't seen him for 5 years, thats when he last came over, I am hoping he gets over this year, my dad has paid to renew his passport and will pay for his ticket but he will have come on his own due to costs and his health isn't too good so I worry about him travelling, I have so many family over there who I haven't seen since I was 8 and it hurts. I would love to move there but hubby I don't think would.Even us just going to visit him would be nice but it will never happen x

There's no place like home
I've lived in 4 states, and when I lived in my previous state (Missouri), I swore I would never live in Kansas, let alone the county where I currently reside. The house I live in now is very cool, but I can't see living here for more than a few more years then moving to the southwest (probably Arizona). Being recently unemployed, I'd like to move now, but we'll hang on because I have a lot of senior fur kids and the move would kill them. I have no family here so nothing is keeping me other than the health of my kids.

I live in Wellington, NZ. I love it and it will always be my home!

I would like to do travelling at some stage - but I can't imagine ever giving up my babies to do so (for family to look after..).

I live in South Carolina. I would kill to be able to move back to New Jersey. I didnt have much of a say in the matter when we moved from there to North Carolina in 2004, then I met hubby and moved to SC thinking we wouldn't be staying here forever. Apparently we didn't discuss that
I despise the summers here, they're disgustingly hot and humid. Jersey is gorgeous during the summer. I LOVE snow, this place doesn't get any.

I miss Jersey, it's where I grew up, its where most of my family is. Basically my parents are the closest family, being in NC. The rest are in NJ and PA. Every time we vacation up there I get really homesick for it and always cry when its time to go. It's been 5.5 years! Hubby told me during our last vaca if I still want to move there once our house in SC is paid off, we can rent that one out and buy a house up there. We'll see how that goes
