I live on a farm, out in the middle of nowhere. I now have 21 cats, many of which are here become someone else can't face up to their responsibilities. I feed them, I foot their vet bills, I provide shelter for them, and if I don't get to them first (or before the coyotes) I scrape their bodies off the road and bury them. People who dump animals in the country should witness the true reality of it. They get sick. They starve. It would make watching a pet be euthanized seem like a walk in the park. All that aside, I believe it's a crime. |
Not fair for the animal to be dumped and not fair to the person that gets dumped on.
