Help me find good link to Toxacara Cati

I hve read about this species, the one infecting at least one of my cats, on 20 or so web sites. Most just repeat the same information. I am trying to pinpoint where they came from since he should have been worm free when we brought him indoors. Both my wife and I suspect that they were picked up at one of the two veterenary clinics that our two cats have spent overnights in since Marlow came indoors for good. Marlows overnight was on November 20. Sasha's overnight was not til December 22. I understand the life cycle but I 'm trying to nail down a time frame.

OOPs, disregard, read your other post where you provided info.

Just my thoughts but generally when a cat is at the Vet, it's in a cage of its own.....with it's own litterbox (a fresh one). I'd have a hard time imagining a cat contracting roundworm if at the Vet overnight, unless it's specifically in a cage with another cat and sharing that other cat's litterbox which just isn't possible, I wouldn't think.

Maybe the Advantage just isn't 100% foolproof?

These suspicions are just that. I don't hypothisize then look for clues that will confirm it. I will go wherever the evidence leads. I would rather disprove our doubts about the veterenary clinics than prove them.
I place long odds on them having gotten worms from the clinic even if the time frame matches.

It would not be surprising if some of the cysts survived and didn't erupt and form worms unless triggered by something - like a stressful stay at the vet or illness. Others with more info can correct me on that.

I don't know where that horked up roundworm came from that I found in my livingroom the other night. Several of my cats have had fecals in the last few months with negative results. ????? And there have been no signs in the litterbox.
