Rene's in Cat Fancy

I just got my August issue of Cat Fancy magazine in the mail. Rene and her organization Helping Paws is the Unsung Hero. If you get a chance..make sure and read it.

I'll have to go check my mail and see if my issue is here. I can't wait to read the artical.

Hehe...yes please try and read it before tomorrow night. LOL everyone seems to have seen it but Rene. Her hubby even saw it at the vets office. It is a great story on what they do here in CT and a great picture of the land donated to them. Yeah, okay a good pic of Rene and Milo too.

Can't wait until my issue arrives!!! I know somebody famous!

I subscribed a month ago and I have still not gotten my first issue. I can't wait to see the article! Maybe if I'm nice Sandie will let me see hers.

Don't worry...I have been TOLD I am to bring it with me. Donna will get to see it first though..

I don't subscribe to it...but I wish I did now...I wil look for this months issue in the store, so I can read Rene's article!!!

Is there any way the article about Rene and Helping Paws can be put here on The Cat Site? Has anyone a scanner? Is there a web site for that publication which contains the various editions' articles?

If it isn't too large it could be scanned as a JPEG image and posted as pictures are here. Just a thought. When Donna wakes up I will ask her where the issue is and see if I can post it.

I have a covert plan in the works to assault the mailman if he doesn't bring my issue today.

From what I understand the August issue will be in pet stores and such on Monday. I will try and scan mine tomorrow night. I have a lot on my plate for tomorrow, but I will get to this ASAP. I am very excited for Helping Paws and of course Rene&Clint.

I couldn't wait to see it - someone from work brought it in on Friday and I at least got to hold it for a few hours. I still do not have my copy because it took so long to get my renewal to go through. Petco, where I do my adoptions, ordered me six extra copies, so eventually I will have plenty of copies, but right now I am being a baby because Sandie has the article and I don't.

Seriously, it was very exciting to read the story and also to know that people everywhere will know what it is we are doing and trying to do here in Connecticut at Helping Paws. And so many of you will know us better too!

The Hartford Courant is also doing a story on my husband and I thanks to Donna - it is coming out next Sunday - Sandie, what are the chances of scanning that one onto the site?

Sandie, I looked for the Aug. issue, but PetSmart only had the JUNE issue. I'll check again tomorrow at the grocery store!

My issue arrived today. Rene, what a great article!! I wish I was some rich private benefactor who could finance your cause. In my present condition, I can only applaud you for your efforts.
