Free pot plant to give away!

But be warned this one meows, uses the litter tray and requires LOTS of grooming!

Fluffy spends most of the day just lazing in her pot plant - she tracks soil all through the house but she loves to eat the grass that grows in it and the sun hits it directly Oh and yes it did used to be straight

"What are you saying this isn't a rare specimen of the crooked tree?"



I love this one - her angry face!



It's hard work living in a pot plant!



We don't mind that she sits in it - but she knows she's not allowed in any of the other plants so can you guess my reaction when I walked into the lounge the other day and found this....

"Stupid pot plant - apparently there wasn't room for the both of us!"



Of course my reaction was to pick the pot plant up straight away and as it happens I was carrying a litter tray and had to put it somewhere.....

"Mum, how come there's a litter tray on the couch????"

The litter tray on the couch reminded me of a Golden Girls episode where they are remodeling the bathroom themselves. Sophia walks in and notices the new toilet has been placed in front of the TV (until it can be installed) and announces it's her dream come true.

It's a new convenience, Fluffy.

Yup she's high white!

She was my "flashy" puss until I bred my 4 vans!

Very cute!! My mom's cat used to sit in the pots all the time.

(I do have to agree that the title caught my attention, as here in the states a "pot plant" is another name for marijuana. LOL!!)

That's why I don't have any plants in the house. I wouldn't mind having that one though.

It wouldn't have crossed my mind to call it a potted plant, even though 'pot plant' definitely made me think of MJ..but then again, I don't speak english so I don't know about these things.

It really got my attention. It just goes to show us that some terms and words mean an entirely different thing depending on what part of the world you live in.

Maybe it helped by exposing people to my wonderful Persian cats? That's not a bad thing! Oh and wait I only own one Persian - the rest are shorthair monkeys!

Goergeous Fluffy monkey! I'm sure it won't be long till she comes up with something else to amuse us.

Oh and the whole "pot/potted plant" thing cracked me up. Definitely an Australasian/Brit term. One day I had to ring a client at work to let them know their dog knocked over a "pot plant" and created a huge mess. Needless to say that message caused some amusement and I learned that it's definitely "potted plant" in Canada unless you want to get someone in trouble!

I'm glad I'm not alone. She hasn't been interested in them much lately but that may be due to the fact she's having kittens in 4 weeks today and she's trying to keep herself tidy.

Thanks Sandy - she's got such personality. My flatmates call her the "vacant" cat!
