I took sharky's advice and checked into Brandon Farms cat food sold at Kroger in my area. Weellll.... the cans and formulation look very familiar.

Looked a lot like "By Nature" at Petsmart, right down to the lettering and the fact that the cans are 6.5 oz.

Sure enough - both are made by Blue Seal in Londonderry, NH. And the 95 percent meat canned foods were 30 cents cheaper apiece! 1.59 regularly at Petsmart and 1.29 at the local Kroger. Cool!!

I don't recall seeing that, but I believe you. The mention I saw was in talking about grain free wet somewhere on this sub forum....

Anyway - my boys seem to like By Nature 95 percent chicken.. provided I put something either fishy or gloppy on it!

So I am glad to know these either way.

I tried feeding By Nature once, and my cats literally wouldn't touch it. Seriously, out of four cats you'd expect at least ONE to touch it, right? Nope, not in my house! It's like the pick off of each other's negative vibes or something. I ended up giving it to my parents and our dog Rusty (RIP) ate it as treats and mixed with his food. He loved that stuff lol- but then again there is something about cat food that he absolutely loved much more than his regular dog food, so we sometimes mixed the two together so he would eat his regular food. What a goof!

Happy to hear you got it cheaper somewhere else- the only reason I bought it that one time was because I had a coupon plus it was on sale or something. Otherwise I wouldn't spend that much on cat food, I'm too poor. That's why my guys eat Chicken Soup
