Tiki Cat King Kamehameha Luau 9 Flavor Variety Pack of 12 / 2.8oz Cans

Neko LOVES seafood and thought I should try Tiki Cat since many of your kitties love it. I grabbed the variety pack for $11.99! The cashier even told me her kitties love Tiki, although one of hers hates the sardines.

We tried the Sardine cutlets - Tahitian Grill and she very much approved

I'll keep this updated as we try each flavor

Wish I could find it around here for Tolly. My feed store was giving away samples a year or so ago, but they never did start carrying it.

I've seen it, not tried it though, perhaps i should? I'm always trying to persuade them into trying better wet foods.

is their a certain formula that is best to try first? they mostly eat chicken & turkey wet foods. THXS

The cashier said her picky ones liked the tuna flavors. Maybe start there?

Just to update on the sardines... I divided the can into 3 servings...she was tired of the sardines by the third serving
and she usually finishes a 3oz can in one day. At least she ate most of it!

Ollie:
The place i went to said they could order anything I wanted to buy in terms of cat food! Will yours do the same? Maybe you could order online. I did find it cheaper online than the price i paid but wasn't sure about the shipping costs.

We shall try that one tomorrow and let you all know how she likes it! Today we had Authority canned; dont want to get her completely hooked on expensive seafood

Oddly she liked the sardines more than the tuna/tilapia/rice one. Although I'm starting to notice that her new dry kibble is filling her up more than her previous dry. Therefore she's eating less canned. She did eat one serving of the tilapia (1can/3servings), but wanted no more of it. Cutting her dry to 1/4 so she can eat more wet. Let you know when we try a new flavor.

This is Bugsy's all time favorite - I think it is because of the texture....

The only one I tried was the yellow cans, don't remember the flavor, lol. But all 5 cats approved. I would buy it as a treat if I could find it around here (I don't do online, shipping is crazy) The only reason I got to try it was because I wrote Tiki and asked for a sample. They sent me 12 cans!

I hope she likes the other flavors a little better!

I also hoped she would like the other flavors... unfortunately I've noticed icky potty outcomes after feeding tiki. Neko has a sensitive stomach and i didn't know the seafood variety would be too much. So sad. She seems to know that tiki gives her tummy aches. She'll be interested by the smell and then avoids eating it unless it is all I offer for the evening. Then in the morning... ewwhh! Litterbox clean up not fun! I may have to freeze small portions (ice cube tray) and give as small treats every once in awhile. An end to my tiki journal
