Silly question - cold paws means he is too cold?

Panther is a domestic short hair, and it is winter time (CA winter does not get too cold anyway).

But he will always have cold paws. I can feel it when he jumps on my lap.

Cheetah, who is a domestic medium hair, always have warm paws.

Is there anything I need to worry about?

I don't think there is anything to worry about. I could go barefoot and my feet would freeze, while maybe someone else's feet would feel warm.

I don't think it's an issue.

I go more by the ears to see if the kitties are cold. I don't know if that's accurate either but it seems to be true of my dog. I just touch their ears and if they are cold, not cool but really cold like something that's been in the fridge I turn the thermostat up and cuddle with them until their ears warm back up.

Thank you, at least I know I have nothing to worry about!
