Ok…. This is a long shot LOL. Can anyone tell me what song this is? Its sort of blues sounding. Some of the lyrics are “Ha ha ha ha…. Wwhhhhoooooaaaaa… whhhooooaaaaa” and I think it says “shes knows what I want” or “shes got what I need”. LOL ya I know… this may be a long shot but I heard it on the radio today, and ive been trying to figure out the song for years now and stupid me forgot the song name and artist! Now it’s bothering me LOL. I think its a fairly popular song they normally play on the rock stations.

Thanks guys!

PS: I pretty sure its not "How how how how" instead of "ha ha ha ha" its not that ZZ Top song.
It sounds like the same rhythm as how ZZ sings the How how how part LOL.

No, that’s the other song everyone keeps saying it is. Its not as old as that one, that came out in the beginning of the 60's i believe. For the Boom Boom song. Im pretty sure its not Rolling Stones as i would have remembered that artists name. Ill have to check the vid when i get home.

Thanks guys!

You should have seen me trying to find out a song I've always liked. The only lyrics I knew to that song was... and I'm holding on, i'm gunna be your number one.... number one... Or something to that effect. Finally heard it on the radio one day, and wrote down some of the lyrics and found it!!! The tide is high by blondie.

If you can remember more of the lyrics, it might help
I searche out music that way all the time. I got some cds from a freind that weren't labled artist, or song title, so I spend time in google from time to time to try to put the right names on the tracks. Right now most of them are "Untitled track #so&so

Found you the lyrics

Keep On Loving Me Baby

Well I want you to love me.
Well I want you to love me.
Well I want you to love me.

Whoa yeah
Whoah yeah
Whoah baby
You know what pleases me

Well I want you to kiss me
Well I want you to kiss me
Well I want you to kiss me

Whoa yeah
Whoah yeah
Whoah baby
You know what pleases me
YOU KNOW WHAT PLEASES ME!

Early in the morning
Any time at night
Well I can feel your tender lips
Making me feel alright

Keep on loving me girl
Ahow how how
Keep on loving me baby
Whoa yah
Whoa yah
Whoa baby
You know what pleases me

SOLO

Early in the morning
Any time at night
Well I can feel your tender lips
Making me feel alright

Keep on loving me girl
Ahow how how
Keep on loving me baby
Whoa yah
Whoa yah
Whoa baby
You know what pleases me

I did this and i got confused. It said the song was Voodoo Thing but the artist was Colin James. I looked it up and it sounded just like the artist i was looking for and even though the song was really cool, it wasnt MY song LOL. They must have made a mistake... just my luck of course LOL.

Thanks so much guys! You all are awesome.
Quite elementary - noticed you are Canadian, and the most played blues artist in Canada is Colin James, followed by Long John Baldry and David Wilcox. Since most stations do NOT play David Wilcox because, well, because of songs like Riverboat Fantasy and Layin Pipe, it narrows it down. Driving beat adds two more to the mix - Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan, and popularity.................... oh nevermind.
... I recognised it soley by the Whooaaaa yeah, and the bit of mangled lyrics, and the fact you are Canadian. Seriously, that is how I recognised it. Read that whoa bit and that is what popped into my mind immediately. Also it is probably the most popular of James' songs and we hear a lot of Coin James stuff here, with Regina being his home town and all. I also love the blues and listen to many odd songs that most people have never heard of by artists that are rarely heard on regular radio. I listen regularly to Saturday Night Blues on CBC radio, since it is about the only blues show around.

Glad to have been some help
