I noticed in the survey column, some of you listen to music of Enya, Yanni, and such. I like that kind of music too. There is one type of music that I really love. Native American flute music. Also music of the Andes in South America. There music is fanastic. My favorite is El Condor Pasa(The condor pasas). If any of you are fans of Simon and Garfunkel, they sing a song with the music to the tune of el condor pasa. I have the cd. When I see the name of it, I will post it. But this kind of music has a calming effect on me and usually go to sleep with it.

I used to listen to Enya when I was in college (eons ago now). Now I just listen to lots of kids music.

When I do listen to my own music, I like the popular Christian music and praise and worship music. I don't get to listen often though...

I love Simon and Garfunkel. I know exactly the song you're talking about!

I like to listen to Christian musico too. Alot!
I also like to listen to some country. I like
Kenny Rogers, Phil Collins, Neil Diamond(have you guys heard the album of Jonathon Livingston Seagull? I love it!) and songs from th eighties and seventhies. I like Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven. Mike and the Mechanics' Living Years(it is very true!), Phil Collins' Another Day in Paradise. I am not from that generation but I love the music. I sometimes listen to oldies.

Not to me, Debby. I love the music from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. There is also stuff from the 50s and 60s that I like.

I am probably the weirdo. My musical tastes are very diverse. They range from quiet stuff to heavy metal and some early rap. About the only thing I really don't like is country, although there are a couple of songs.....

I'd have to say Billy Joel and Phil Collins are my all time favorites. Haven't we had this conversation before?

Oh, Nena! You reminded me how much my husband and I love to listen to 80's music. He's a real entertainment buff, so we have tons of CDs. I just don't have much time to listen. But those 80's songs sure bring back memories. High school mostly, and some college. One thing my husband loves to do is quiz me on music. He'll play a song, and I have to guess what song it is and who sang it. Let me just say, he's usually disappointed. I'm pretty bad at it. The other night our cable was out, so we were listening to music. He has this CD of popular TV show themes from the 70's and 80's. I did better with those. That was a lot of fun! You forget you ever watched a show, but then you here the theme song, and you remember every word!

Land of confusion is my favorite, cause I remember the video being on when Reagan was still president, and the video has those puppets in it, and one of them is Regan, and he sits up in bed in his striped pj's and reached for the "red" button!!!
I LOVED that!!!!! ( do you know what I am talking about?)

Invisible Touch is one of those albums I'd have to have on a desert island with me. I rotate me CDs in and out of the car, depending on mood, but that one is a staple!

I am only 28 and love music that is not of my generation. I love all kinds of music. I wll even listen to classical. About the only thing I can't stand is heavy metal rock, or punk rock. I just don't like noise. I love Elvis. I like Unforgettable by Nat King Cole and his daughter. Do any of you who listen to New Age know of a program that is called Musical Star Streams? It comes out in a radio station. The music is beautiful. I have nice dreams when I listen to it.

I am an old sixties girl and love the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Mammas and Papas, Dylan, The Stones etc.
I also love artists of today and classical as well. I guess I like many different kinds of music. Just depends on what I am in the mood for at the time.
