Good afternoon my dear friends…

so sorry for the delay put of the question but I Have some inconvenients at work and I´m at home right now...

Today I have the privilege to post here your daily question for the Lounge…
I want to mention that all questions here are just for the unique porpoise of fun and of course, to stay in touch with all members, and to know what do you think about it…
of course sometimes some questions are a kind of silly but funniest in the bottom!..
… so lets begin…

Do you take advantage about the special offerts that make the big-stores or malls? I mean the discounts in this month? in other words, do you save some money waitin for this month of the year to make some buys?
.....

...So, start to post here!...

I don't, I shop whenever I need something and I don't plan ahead, so I don't buy things just because they are on sale (except for things like shampoo, lotions, deodorants, etc- things that are periodically bogo at the drug stores...you can't NOT take advantage of that since these things run out quickly anyway so stocking up is never a bad idea)

Nope. We have been very conservative in our spending. If something costs $50.00 and is on sale for 30.00 you save 20.00. Well, I don't buy it in the first place so I save 50.00.

Honestly, I don't like shopping....I usually send my DH to get the food. I am happy right at home. I think I am turning into a hermit!

On the whole, no. I'm not a shopping addict. I shop when I need to, and then reluctantly. However, if "when I need to" happens to coincide with a sale time, I'm not about to turn down a deal.

I built a new computer and only bought a new piece for it every time something went on sale. I built it for about 280.00.. the value of the parts was probably something around 700. However the downside is it took me about 2 months to acquire all the parts that way

It was worth it though.

I also bought components that had the most bang for their buck instead of buying top of the line.

If there is something that I really want and know it will go on sale shortly, I will wait for the sale. Normally tho when I want something I just buy it while in the store whether it is on sale or not.

I do look for a sale, unless an appliance or something breaks and has to replaced quickly.

When buying groceries, I'm an avid coupon user and that helps. We try not to buy on impulse....some trips are better than others.

We're on a budget and will do everything not to go over budget for things. We also do a lot of research on big-ticket items to get the best deal we can. And I'm not above trying to talk merchants down to get a better deal. Sometimes it works.

I dont really wait until a particular time of year to shop. If I need or want something, I will look/hope for a sale, but will still get it if I need it. In 2008 hubby and I did shop Black Friday sales for our house, but that's the only year we ever really attended holiday specific sales for that reason.
