If you have a multiple cat home, do you have a favorite cat and what makes that kitty so special for him/her to tug at your heart a little more than the others.

I can't answer this since I have only my one kitty so I'll leave this answer to all the lucky multiple cat homes

Happy Sunday!!!

Two kitties, and yes I have a special kitty. Cindy is Mum's girl, no question. There's nothing that heals my heart like a hug
from my girl. I love them both, of course, and Fawn makes me laugh, but she's not a cuddly girl, and only Daddy knows how to hold her.

Counting Angelo's kitten, I have 4.
Spaz, my soon to be 16 year old is my special girl.
She's been with me since she was 3 weeks old.
We've survived 6 relationships, and 4 interstate moves together.

She's got CRF and congestive heart failure and is deaf now, but through everything she has remained my counterbalance and she's still extremely empathic to my moods.
She's a tough old girl and even though she looks every bit her age, she's definitely not ready to leave yet.

Brilliant Question...

King Milky will be always the King!...

This not means than Catulina & Horatio will be less my friend, but Certainly King Milky knows how to steal our heart!...

Yes, we have 4 cats and Bailey's my girl.

We had 2 cats who were my parents and then one of them had kittens. I convinced my parents to let me keep one and so did my brother.

I picked Bailey and she's been my cat ever since, she'll usually only give kisses to me and loves to spend time lying in my lap while I'm on the computer and would definitely rather be with me than the other cats.

Of course, my younger brother already lost interest in Buddy, the cat he chose. Buddy is now my cat too.

That's exactly how I feel about my furbabies as well! Each of them have a very special place in my heart!

Depends on the time of day. At night Topaz sleeps next to me. During the day Ari will come and curled up in my arms and nuzzle.

Well, I love both my kitties the same, but Swanie is definitely a mama's boy and loves to cuddle, and Cindy is a daddy's girl and follows DH around.

My sister and I have this running joke...whenever she introduces me to someone she knows,it's always "and this is my sister Liz...she has a cat".A joke because I have so many!I couldn't pick one in particular out as a special baby....they all are in their own little way.

I have two cats at home. One who we adopted a few years ago and who has had a rough life before (she was in two homes before ours!). She comes when she wants to cuddle but really she's my girl in the end. All she thinks about is food and then cuddles. Then there's Ricky, who is only 8 months old and is a total cuddle bunny. We keep his food downstairs and Lucy's upstairs (otherwise Lucy will eat his food) and he wants one of us (my husband or myself) to be in the room while he's eating or nearby, otherwise if we leave him downstairs in his room and go upstairs, he'll follow. He wants to be near someone all the time. But to answer the question, I don't think I could pick a favorite. I love them both so very much and they mean the world to me. Both of them carry their own special quirks that I love.

Rusty has always been a Papa's girl. She is not a lap cat and never has been. Dusty is totally a Mama's girl. In fact, she is on my lap right now. She is sleeping on my left arm and I am typing this with my right hand only.

Rusty does give me head butts on occasion.

With 10 cats, how can I pick a favorite? All but 1 of them are mama's kids, and some of them share mom and dad equally. But when my friend asked me the hypothetical question one time: "If something were to happen where you could only keep 1 of you pets, who would you chose?" I thought very long and hard on that one, tried to find ways to change the rules of the question, and failing that, decided on Scarlett. Scarlett was orphaned and hand raised by DH and I so there is a special bond there. She is innocent, loving, comes when you call her name, sleeps curled next to me every night, and adores us as much as we adore her. She has a personality larger than life and clearly larger than the tiny size she is (less than 7 pounds). She looks like a kitten at 8 years old and people who see her usually melt when she looks at them in her own cute way. She's also the biggest drama queen that I've ever met.

Three kitties. I have to say Nero is my baby. He's the one we've had the longest (though is the youngest of the 3). He's just such a cuddle bug and lovey kitty. I call him my sweetness a lot.

I love my other two extremely much too and would never be able to give them up either if I had to choose!

Da Lip is definitely the one I worry about most - he is a rescue with 'issues'. He was found by a girl in town, and her parents asked me if I would take him. I went to pick him up and he had a huge scab where his bottom lip used to be. We figured he had been tossed from a car or jumped out, was hard telling. I spent weeks worrying if this tiny ball of fluff would even be able to eat enough to live. He did, and is sitting cuddled beside me as I type. His 'moll' is running around like a mad thing right now.

that is true! Espeically since I got them both as rescue cats. Tilly isn't snuggly but when she does deem me worthy to touch her it melts my heart because she is soo cute. She hides most of the time and just wants to be left alone but she does spend alot of time playing with Moo. However, after 3 years she is starting to warm up.

Moo holds a VERY special place in my heart because I got him when I was going through a very rough and very lonely time. This little black kitty and white was adopted by my mom but when she saw how baby aramis had curled up on me and couldn't leave me alone she decided that "that cat needs you as much as you need him" and she "gave" him to me. RATHER he chose me and ended up "giving her the claw" at the end.
We've been attached at the hip ever since. He is there when I have to get up early and he is there at hte door waiting for me when I get home. After all my surgeries he wouldn't leave my side and even tried to pull the dressing off one day. Turns out he was onto something...I looked under then and had a massive case of severe Hives.
When I am upset he is the first to come over to me and just sit by me for hours. he comes over to say goodnight and he is the first to say good morning (he stands over me and meows) WHen I have to write papers for school way into the evening he is on my lap purring until I finish.

My DH is more of a dog person but he said " unhappy aramis = unhappy wife"

Just one kitty for me, too. I don't think she would like another. She's a princess and there is no room for commoners!
