I went to Petsmart today to pick up a water fountain to spoil my kitties some more and it being Saturday they had all the rescue animals there. There was a beautiful little tortie and her brother there! I wish I could take them but there's definitely no way right now..

But they're both so cute I'm sure that they'll be adopted soon

Going to the pet store and seeing the animals up for adoption in the cages always tears my heart out. I wish I could take them ALL home!!

They look so scared! They're both so pretty; I'm sure they'll find forever homes soon. It's always so hard for me to visit the pet store on adoption day. I want to take them all just so they'll have a home!

Yeah, the orange tabby was one of the nicest looking I've ever seen. My cell phone camera doesn't do his color justice. I tried to pet them just a tiny bit and backed off when they didn't want it. I didn't want to scare them more than they already were.

The tortie let out a few soft meows when I was talking to her... if I didn't already know that there's no way for me to have another cat or two I would've had to have taken them home!

But like has been said, they were both very adoptable cats and I'm sure will find homes soon. Hopefully together

Walking into an adoption event is so hard to do. I just wanna scoop 'em all up and take 'em home with me. Our local 'feed' store does adoptions and I always go look at the dogs and cats and it makes me so sad, but being there gets them adopted so I think it's a great cause.

My vet has a rescue & adoption program (he adopts cats & dogs from the pound that would be euthanized due to medical conditions like URIs, UTIs, broken limbs, etc.) and every single time I go in there I see one or 2 I'd like to take home. They keep trying to talk me into fostering for them, but I've got an old arthritic cat and a FHV positive cat, so I'm out. Besides that, I'd soon become the crazy cat lady because I wouldn't be able to let them go.
