Hello cat world! My name is May. I am a 22 year old single meowmy of 2.

Mischief and Tinkerbells gotcha day is May 15 2009. They are 7 months old. Tinkerbell is a calico and weighs 5.5 pounds. Very dainty.
Mischief is a torti and weighs 6.5 pounds. Definitely lives up to her name.

They just recently got spayed. December was their 29th to be exact. Today was their checkup. Mischief has a little lump near her incision site. we were told it was an allergy to the stitiches.

Anyone else have this happen to their babies

Welcome to the forums!

My 2 kittens are due to be altered next week. Hopefully everything will go alright.. (I'm sure it will)

I hope to see some pictures... I especially like torties

Welcome to TCS!

I've fostered a lot of kitties through spay/neuter surgery. It is not uncommon for them to develop a lump as a reaction to the stitches (often it seems it's a reaction to the internal stitches). I've never had to do anything special, or change anything - as they've healed up OK on their own.

I have had it happen before.
My Wrinkles will be altered Jan 18th.

Mischief and Tinkerbell sound like they keep you busy.
I had a kitty who got a lump like Mischief's....
we watched it's progress and it eventually went away.
