Wow, this week flew by!

It is about -20 here with the windchill this morning. I am not entirely confident that the car will start..there is not alot of gas in it...crossing my fingers!

I am getting a massage after work tonight...thankfully. I haven't got a pro massage for a few months and I can't wait.

This weekend we are just relaxing I think

You all have a good one!

I agree! Thank goodness it's FRIDAY!!!

This week is the first week I've had to deal with a doctor on call. I must say it's been busy, and it's not over yet! He's on call through the weekend too. I'll be dealing with patient fall out for weeks!

Going grocery shopping after work, then laundry (which I didn't do yesterday).

Going to get my hair done tomorrow, then dinner....no it's not a date. The timing is just co-incidental. I'm going out with a friend for our monthly dinner outing. It's her choice. I suspect we'll be having Sushi :gag:

Hello All!!

Had some snow yesterday about 3-4" I suspect. And as usual I either followed or was followed by drivers who were idiots, talking on the phone instead of concentrating on driving or tailgating!

So today is full of chores and errands to run later.

Starting day 5 of exercise/calorie restriction. Lost 5.5 pounds already (these were gained in December) easy on/easy off!! Using a Biggest Loser DVD but have to purchase some better free weights to be more efffective.

Cats are on their morning nap exept Bender who I think is hoping to see the flock of wild turkeys (21 of them!) return to the birdfeeder.

Have a good one!

We awakened to about 1-1/2 inches of snow. Nothing major. DH brought me into work this morning, though, because we have a ton of errands to do tonight.

We're meeting my sister (and BIL) and my brother (and SIL) for dinner tomorrow night at an Italian place in town. We all haven't been together since everybody went to my sister's for Christmas Eve and we figured it was time to hang out for awhile. It will be fun.

Other than that, not too much going on the weekend, other than normal household chores. Laundry, I hate laundry. *sigh* And for only two people in the house, we sure seem to have enough of it.

Gail, I'm starting Day 5, too. After the holidays, it's required. Congrats on your loss.

Morning,

We had about a half inch of snow yesterday. That's not much, but around here it's enough to close all the schools in the area. The lab where I work is on a two hour delay today. Since my schedule is pretty flexible, I decided to just work from home and snuggle up with the kitties. I have a few phone calls to make and e-mails to send out. Other than that, I'll be writing today. Since I'm not going to work, I won't be able to go to the gym. I'll try to get a bit of a cardio workout in my den with a stair step and dumbbells, but it's boring and I have a much harder time motivating myself to do it long enough to get much out of it.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
We got 2-3 inches of snow, enough to be a PIA because nothing's been plowed. If we didn't have SUCH a steep driveway (or a van) it wouldn't be so annoying.

We had to cut our biz trip to NYC short yesterday. After our second mtg, Gary was in so much pain sweat was just dripping off of him - it looked like he stepped out of the shower.
His eye was drooping and so swollen it couldn't open, and tears were streaming down his face (not crying, but the pain causes lacrimation). So we had to head home. Of course, our morning started with the heater screaming like a banshee, so Gary was out there at 4:30am trying to fix it.

He was hoping to head in today to make up two of the meetings... (I was going to deal with heater repairman) but that's not gonna happen.

Heater repairman was here. Needs new parts that won't be here until Tuesday.

Low tomorrow night is supposed to be 7.

We've got space heaters... but the ducted system keeps the underneath compartments on the RV heated.

Fun fun.

It snowed here too last night!! We have about half an inch of snow and the road I live on is closed so I am stuck at the house today. I am making shrimp and rice for lunch and then I'll wait for the road to open and snow to melt..

Laurie, I hope Gary feels better soon and those space heaters do a decent job at keeping you guys warm until Tuesday

Good afternoon! Yes this week did go fast, my first week of unemployment. Blah. I'm off soon to bike to the pet food store for some catfood, that is my big plan for today.
Otherwise, yeah I don't know, nothing much happening. It's really hazy out, it looks awful. Smog, marine layer, whatever. In any case I'll try not to breathe too hard while biking.

Have a good Friday and good weekend everyone, and keep trying to stay warm! (weather.com says it's 74 here in Long Beach!!
