Well, when they have their collars on..... Pierre is in red, and Jacques is in blue. Until, of course, they get their Paco Collars when they grow up... then Pierre will be in black, and Jacques will be in tan.

When they don't have their collars on... it gets interesting.

Pierre is thinner and smaller, a shade or two darker, and has more of a "roguish" face - his eyes aren't as round, and his skull isn't as wide. Jacques has a lot more fluff, lighter in color, fuller tail and has a lot more bone.
Also, there's always the "dog test" - in the presence of the dogs, Pierre hisses and spits, Jacques rolls over and purrs.

My vet also has a big orange "clinic cat" named Sampson... it's was the only cat that my male Doberman (Ronin) respected, prior to us getting cats.
With the dogs - two high drive Dobermans, and one high drive corgi - we knew we needed very bold, outgoing cats. It took a long time for us to find the perfect pair of kittens.... but the wait was totally worth it, these boys are SO much fun!
