Morning peeps!

Another relatively mild one today and no snow expected

I have been researching like crazy what car to buy...we are likely getting one in the next 6 months or so! Yay!

Off to work, and then boot camp tonight...nothing new really.

You all have a good one!

Morning!

I can't believe how fast this week has flown by!! I can't believe it's Thursday already!

I'm taking another clinic's calls this morning in order to help out the nurse, then I have a clinic this afternoon.

Nothing much going on this evening other than to do a load of laundry or two. My cleaning girl is coming today instead of tomorrow so the place should be relatively clean when I get home.

It's another brisk morning; we're expecting snow today into tomorrow.

Trouts Mom, good luck with your car research; hope you find the perfect car for you. We've been looking around and checking vehicles out, but haven't made any decisions yet. My car is nine years old and, although I adore my car (it's a red PT Cruiser), we're probably getting close to having to buy another one.

I did three loads of laundry last night, so we're good until the weekend. Nothing much on my agenda for tonight, so maybe I'll flop on the bed with the furkids for awhile.

Morning,

I'm off today. I'm getting ready to head out and run a few errands. One of them is going to the grocery store. That should be fun. We're supposed to get snow today, so that means a run on the grocery store. It's rather funny really. People run to the grocery store like they're stocking up for the Apocalypse, but they mostly buy stuff like milk and eggs.
Oh, and the forecast is 1-2" of light powdery snow.

I think I'll drop in and see my mother for a bit after my errands. I meant to do it on Tuesday, but a 3 hour nap intervened. Other than that, I'll be working from home today. If we do get a couple of inches of snow today everything will probably be closed tomorrow, including the lab where I work so I may have another long weekend coming up. Regular employees have to take vacation days for that, but as a student it's pretty much a freebie.

Hello all!

Is it spring yet? Not much to report here, other than a forecast of 3-8 inches of snow on the way...just for today and tonight, with the snow expected to last through the weekend.

As much as I love hearing the various weather reports from around the globe, I am very much looking forward to the time when we are reporting more tropical weather.
Stay warm and safe out there everyone!

I am heading to 5 Guys for lunch today, and I am looking forward to enjoying a nice heart attack burger and a wagonload of fries. YUM!

Take care,

Dave

It was a balmy -37°C (-35°F) this morning, and we had a gentle, cooling breeze to make it feel close to -50. It has warmed a whopping 2 degrees celcius, and the wind dropped to nothing. It is so cold in this room that the cats are in a heap and trying to shove me off my chair. They say it is supposed to warm up over the weekend, not sure if I believe them, gonna have to wait and see
