cats eat peas?

is it safe to give a cat a tablespoon or so of peas a day? and peas with or without salt? or does it matter

I'm wondering why you would want to?

Some cats are allergic to peas. I definitely wouldn't put any salt on them either.

everytime i try to eat peas louie comes up, puts his face in my plate, and starts eating.. and it's not just peas.. he eats biscuits, fruit loops, corn all kinds of things. along with his wet cat food and dry cat food.
