Hello, I just joined today
I'm Katelyn, from Saint Paul and currently living in Mankato. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and three babies. Here is a photo of them together...
From left to right, we have Pikachu, Mew and Hinata. They are all about 2 and a half years old... Pikachu and Mew are brothers
All of them are VERY talkative, they didn't used to be, though... I think it's because we talk to them so much
Pikachu is the whiny one you could say... he has these little high pitched meows he makes when you walk by him or when he's bored. He's the skinniest, too
Mew is just full of personality. He's fluffier than his brother, and a little fatter and his fur is a bit darker. He meows at EVERYTHING all the time, and he always seems to be in a great mood. He purrs very loudly and loves to cuddle (in fact, he's purring in my lap right now ) He likes to stay in the bathroom with you when you shower, and lay on top of you when you sleep.
Hinata is very girly, she is always bathing herself and her fur is very silky and soft, like velvet. She doesn't like to play with my other babies (almost as if she's embarrassed to be seen playing) but she loves to by herself - she really loves catnip bubbles
She really loves to lick people - once she starts she will keep on licking for a good 5 minutes... and let me tell you, her tongue is very rough! She hates being picked up or touched anywhere besides her head, she will let out a little squeak if you do (she won't bite though- none of them do).
I went with a friend one day to find a kitten for him, and I ended up with one as well. He chose Mew, I chose Pikachu. Unfortunately he ended up discovering that he was allergic to kitty fur so I took Mew in about a week later. Those boys are now inseparable, it's so cute
As for Hinata, I used to go camping near the Mississippi and there was a bar nearby the campsite. We drove by the bar one day as we were leaving, and decided to grab some sodas before we went home. Before we went inside, I discovered a pile of mewing kittens tucked inside of a large open space underneath the outside of the bar. We asked some of the people that worked there about the kittens, they told us that they were strays and that they would be moved to a farm in a few days. I got to keep one of them
Lastly, apologies for such a long post! I just love talking about my babies... though I'm sure you guys feel the same about your own kitties
P.S. My username claims I hoard kittens... I really don't This was always my handle on different websites, then I discovered that "cat hoarder" is basically a person with dozens of cats that aren't properly taken care of (i.e. crazy cat lady). Let me assure you I do not do that
lol
